Shell Island
Great for an everyday camp!! Lovely views on each side. Great entertainment for adults and kids! One minus- not enough space for washing dishes- very busy especially in the morning. I would suggest putting most dishwashing stations around the camp. Otherwise all super good!!!!Will be back there!

What an amazing place, has everything you need for a excellent vacation and very clean, grass was cut regularly and the staff was really helpful and went out of their way to make the holiday perfect, wheelchair friendly and carparks so you don't have to walk far. Highly recommended to all.

Hands down the best campsite in Europe. Great onsite facilities, clean showers and toilets. Shops for essentials and beach / gift goods. The best views and sunsets close to two great towns. A castle, and miles of beaches. The best beaches and sand hills are on shell island though.

5 star for rooms because my tent is 5 star..... first time at shell island and although it was very windy I loved it. Just a great chilled 3 nights with camp fires and everything you need in one place, shops, clean showers and toilets, an arcade, bar, beach, crabbing harbour, sand dunes, great atmosphere.

Shell Island
A huge area for tents or caravans among the dunes, mountains, ocean, with lots of bunnies and various birds. In silence, without electricity and with little internet access. In such a large area, there are many places with toilets and access to fresh water. The only place with showers and a place for washing dishes, laundry, bar, restaurant and shop is close to the reception. But that's not a problem. The only problem is the strong wind that accompanied us quite often. Many tents were destroyed by this element. An interesting attraction is the last part of the road to Shell Island, which is flooded with water. You can hit the time of high tide and then, unfortunately, you have to wait a few hours before the road is passable again. In addition, on this part of the road, after low tide, you can catch crabs. This is one of the best places I've been to in Wales so far. I recommend Shell Island to everyone who likes camping trips.

Great location, but make sure you lock up your things. Alot of the other guests have more kids than teeth, although this makes people watching great entertainment. Very big site which was surprisingly clean. Security dealt with an issue we saw very quickly and professionally. Lots of traffic on site as people are too bone idol to walk to toilets or shower blocks. People leaving cars running for hours in order to charge phones. Location and sunsets amazing. Good luck finding your ideal pitch

Quite little island with different areas of interest great for those who love to walk. Not Recommended for people with walking difficulties as lots of slopes quite hilly. For motor homes and camper vans ramps recommended as not many level places to pitch up if you want to overlook the sea.Few shops on site for essentials. Toilets dotted around campsite the showers are near main entrance which were nice and clean. Ideal for dog owners. During hot weather it’s advisable to take shelter to cool dogs down as no shade on-site.

We chanced an end of summer stay hoping that the British weather would be kind. It wasn't!After a beautiful evening walk on the beach we saw the weather front coming in and it hit before we got back to the tent which it continued to destroy overnight. We got out of there pretty sharpish the next morning but not before the staff had been round to check we were ok. A measure of the quality of how this place is run.A stunning place whose location, whilst being very beautiful, can remind you that you can't fight nature. Do your research. Check the weather and don't forget to check the tides!A very windy and unforgettable experience.

Nice location to get away, such great views and a super beach which is not deep water stays shallow so safe for kids also has a big area of rocks for them to explore at low tide if weather not the best. All in all cant fault the place just get a few idiots who like to drive to fast blast music all hours and can't use a toilet correctly

Useful laundrette and the pizza went down very nicely.Glorious weather, the kids all a had a great time and so did the adults!
