Ordered oak railway sleepers as advertised on website. I wanted oak to match existing oak decking. They delivered cheap softwood green pressure treated ones instead, and when I refused to accept the delivery they charged shipping and a 20% restocking charge when they screwed up! Really annoyed that I’ve paid for their incompetence.

Helpful staff, great in-stock products and fair prices. Delivery was not too expensive and was quick with all the timber left neatly stacked and safe, with our gate shut again afterwards. Recommended and we'll be changing to use Timber Store for our farm and fencing materials from now on.

I have used Timber Store twice now for two different orders of timber to build raised beds, and both times the quality of the timber has been excellent with prompt and courteous delivery, on time, and as expected. The prices are very good - better value for money than many major suppliers.

Used this company since they started up in business and all fine until I had a problem with some timber, service was then so bad and casual all of a sudden from company owner it has cost a lot of money through negligence and lack of concern for good customer, I have now started using another company and don’t think Timber store even worthy of one star once problems arise, never had any difficulty under previous owner and always found general staff excellent
