Legacy Martial Arts

Legacy Martial Arts is absolutely outstanding, the team are great and effort they put into there pupils is amazing, our daughter has been coming on greatly since she joined and has even graded already and received a black belt of the week award. She is very focused and that’s thanks to the team at legacy, we are super pleased we found them and joined and I really do hope she sticks it out and even during her adulthood. We would Highly Recommend Legacy to all, if you are looking then go for it!

Friendly atmosphere, very welcoming. Very flexible with class times and if you miss a class they are happy for you to make it up on another day.They went the extra mile too when my son was being bullied at school, both with advice for myself and advice for my son. They took time outside of classes to help him when they didn't need to.The classes are fun and friendly, but strict in an age appropriate way. Things are clearly tailored towards helping the kids achieve their best, so if they need extra help or time they get it.Could not recommend more, both for children learning self defense but also for learning life skills and to have fun every week.

The whole team at Legacy Martial Arts are absolutely superb! We started off with my children going, they've enjoyed it so much!All the team are great with the kids, the whole ethos of black belt attitude is such a great thing for the kids to learn.The customer service is brilliant. It really impressed me, we love getting postcards and birthday cards from the team!It looked so much fun that I've started doing the adult lessons.I recommend joining in the fun!

My two children have been training with Legacy for 8 months. The lessons are fun and upbeat while still maintaining excellent etiquette and respect. Every ability is catered for, whether shy and nervous or confident with a natural gift for sports, every need is met. I have so much respect for the team I've actually joined the adult class myself. There are always additional teachers walking round the whole lesson ensuring everyone understands what they're doing and ready with helpful pointers if needed and an excellent

My wife was looking for a club locally to help with our sons confidence. We found Legacy Martial arts and took our son to an induction. Immediately we all felt at home.The staff, atmosphere, ethos everything Legacy were teaching and stood for resonated and we could not wait for our child to get started.I loved the induction that much I joined on the same day too!Several months in and both me and my son absolutely love attending class every week. The class content is excellent, relevant, well taught, understood and pushes him and I every time.Alex, Elena and Oli run Legacy to a very high standard, they have some fantastic support with the tutors and make everyone feel welcome. They are always on hand to support and do so with a smile.Respect is an integral part of everything we do in and this is really demonstrated in every class and encouraged not only in class but in the outside world.Legacy have helped both myself and my son to learn a new discipline, make friends and ensure we can be the best version of ourselves. Which supports him and I at school and work.This is something we are able to bond over this as father and son and would 100% recommend to anyone looking to join for a multitude of good reasons.Both my son and I have enjoyed our journey so far, achieved two levels which we are extremely proud of. Can't recommend Legacy Martial Arts enough!I joined 6 months ago with no martial arts background and was made to feel welcome straight away. The classes are a great blend of fitness and technical training which the instructors adapt to suit the different experience levels in the room.There is a positive, friendly and respectful atmosphere in the club, set by the instructors who are all extremely knowledgeable and great at what they do.5 stars!

After a 30 year gap I restarted my Martial Arts journey with Legacy just over a year ago.My aims were simple; to get fitter, loose my mild age tummy spread, build strength, balance and flexibility for my future years.I wanted to do something with a group of like minded, supportive people where I would feel motivated to regularly attend.I wanted to learn something new that would stretch and flex my mind as well as body.I wanted a practical application so it would feel like there was a purpose to training.So after looking at lots of options, I came across Legacy and its been a perfect fit.When I first started training, I was able to start slowing, build good technique and basic fitness.A year on, I have moved on several grades and I have not been in as good a condition since my 20’s, I’m fitter, stronger and I’m not getting the back problems I used to often get.The regular sessions are well run, hard work (which I like), fun and has really helped my physical conditioning.But personally I really like the specialist sessions in Filipino Martial Arts, good instructors are hard to find especially in the Midlands, so to train with Alex and the team has been a real bonus.If you are an adult considering returning back to Martial Arts or starting from scratch, I would highly recommend you give Legacy a try and see if it fits for you.

My 8 year old daughter started at Legacy 7 months ago, and she absolutely loves it. We were made to feel so well even from the initial enquiry, to the trial classes to 7 months down the line. Alex, Elaina and Oli are super friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and really knows every child individually. My daughter loves the fitness side of the club and loves learning about self defence. We brought our daughter the pads and gloves and she loves practicing her new skills on her dad at home. She always talks about 'black belt attitude', and can't wait one day to actually be a black belt.I would highly recommend Legacy to anyone. Thank you guys, keep up the amazing work.
