HOPE Centre
Fabulous place full of happy kids playing and learning. Bright and clean, airy and spacious. Great café and some excellent classes and courses for adults. Just outside Bromyard - parking can be challenging at times!

Great place to relax and have a snack and a cup of tea while my daughter plays in a safe happy environment

Both my sons attended the hope centre for a over a year.My eldest did really well there, he started out as a very shy and timid boy who is now thriving at school. My youngest didn’t do so well there. He is currently going through an assessment for selective mutism.I told my concerns to the staff at the hope centre, who referred me to a health visitor and went through the motions of trying to uncover what was wrong. The health visitor simply said he was just a shy boy. And that was it. There was no follow up, the nursery also accepted this. Being a mum, not someone who holds a degree of level 3 in childcare I trusted them, I thought they were the professionals who knew what they were doing. I initially thought I was being paranoid.I knew something wasn’t right, and it wasn’t down to just being shy so I researched more and found selective mutism. The waiting list for a speech and language therapist with the nhs is currently 6-7 months. I now have to go private. If the nursery had noticed sooner, my son could have had a diagnosis and therapy sessions ready for school.Although they are a good nursery, I think they failed my youngest. If a child is doing okay or thriving it would be a great nursery but if your child has extra needs this isn’t the place to go.
