The Bike Mobile

Highly recommend the bike rental if you have the opportunity. We had a really great experience with the bikemobile. A pretty large group of us, (9 adults, 2 kids and 2 toddlers) rented bikes while in Donegal visiting family and rode the 8k trail around Inch. The service was top class, with the functionality and safety of the bikes and riders was clearly a priority.Some of us rode e-bikes and had a trailer attached to one of the bicycles for the 2 toddlers in our group to ride in. The rest of us had regular bicycles. The bikes were all in great condition and clean and clearly very well maintained.The guy was really friendly and sound. We were provided with helmets (including the toddlers) and made sure the saddle height was comfortable, brakes were responsive and chains oiled.The prices were very reasonable also.The ride around Inch is beautiful and not a challenging ride.Everything is very flat and the trail is wide enough to feel comfortable riding, but not wide enough the whole way around to ride side by side.Highly recommended.

John gave my gravel bike an excellent service. He very knowledgable on all aspects of bike servicing and repair. Very efficient and friendly service. You really can’t beat having a bike mechanic call to your door and get everything done then and there. I’ll definitely be calling John again

This was such a great experience. We rented the electric assisted bikes and were really able to explore the area and not feel too intimidated by the local car traffic. John was phenomenal. He took time to explain the bikes and their controls, as well as provided helmets and visibility vests. I would definitely recommend this for your next adventure.

John at The Bike Mobile was very gracious and delivered e-bikes to us in the rain while we were in Donegal Town. He provided the three of us with helmets and safety vests, instructions for using the e-bikes, directions for driving on our route, and how to reach him should we need to. We didn’t need to contact him, the rain cleared, the e-bikes handled really well and helped us enjoy a beautiful scenic ride to Lough Eske Castle and back!I highly recommend The Bike Mobile and would be happy to rent bikes from this business again!

My husband's bike broke down 2 days into a 10 day cycle trip. Unfortunately it was not something that could be repaired. John came to our hotel Sunday morning and brought us a rental bike to complete the trip and meet us at the end to swap bikes back. He was kind, helpful and professional. Would recommend him highly!

I was doing a cycling tour of Ireland, and in the middle of nowhere my 3rd inner tube in 24 hours popped, luckily John came to the rescue, and sorted my bike out completely. He even let me hop in the van to Donegal. Great service, and a kind man.

Extremely happy with John’s service. Got stuck with a broken chain in the middle of my cycle home from work and John very promptly came out and fixed it so I could continue the ride. John provided a top class services for our family,, 2 adult & 2 kids bikes, serviced at our house, no loading up and having to go back to collect them. Everything about John's service was professional, prompt, great communication and very reasonably priced. It is reassuring, knowing the children's bikes are running safely now. We would highly recommend John and we will definitely use him in the future.

Prompt and professional service. John came straight to my door in a a fully kitted van, and had my bike sorted and back on the road in no time. It saved me having to load a 25kg bike into the back of my car to drive to the nearest bike repair shop. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended.
