Incredible service (so many people on hand!), delicious food and a beautiful house. Also one of the best hotel gyms I’ve seen. Thought the DJ blasting out 90s cheesy hits on the terrace was a bit weird and it’s expensive, but very good in general.

The estate was incredibly beautiful. All the details of the interior are just magnificent. The food was excellent in all the restaurants. Gym is amazing. I would’ve maybe liked staying in the rooms at the manor itself just because it was cold and rainy to walk to the manor for dinner and such.But I do want to add that the hospitality and service of the reception and management was lacking. It was impersonal and sometimes rude to say at least. Upon our arrival there was no real welcome and after our check in there was no tour or any explaining of the property and what it offers. No one communicated the dinner options or what the weekend had to offer in terms of entertainment (a dj at the library on weekends, we discovered later). There was a lot of random discoveries of such that should’ve been kindly (and expectedly) communicated. Our farewell was impersonal as well. There was no real farewell or hope you enjoyed your stay.We have seen other guests being greeted much better.I would’ve expected from such an establishment to have someone from management or at least a butler introduce themselves and explain/tour/book. And be checked on. I can see that was being done to some guests but we were not one of them.I wonder if it’s because we are not members? Nonetheless, this is not a 5 star luxury expected service and I feel this should be communicated with them.Aside from that I enjoyed my stay as the views and the area were unreal. Even got to visit Oxford and that was pleasant.

Currently staying at Estelle manor. So many details to the rooms and grounds and very luxurious. Beautiful and elegant. The restaurant service was charming and attentive and the food was delicious. Their garden is impeccably organized and the quality of the ingredients made for a one of a kind meal. Make the drive to get here, worth it.

Rooms were nice but overall service is poor. Went for a night out of London to propose to my partner, could only offer me a table at 6.30pm despite the restaurant being half full at 8.30. Charged me twice for my stay and when I flagged it the response from the hotel did not even apologise for the inconvenience.Hotel is cool and food was great but overall not a good experience.

Beautiful hotel with lovely decor - fantastic renovation. Turn down couple charming in particular. A number of service issues that we would not expect for such a luxury hotel (stone cold eggs, 40 minute wait for milk to room type thing). All small things but surprising. Price about right for level of experience - however £6.75 for a small cold drink that is bought in a store for 60p is really crazy - when 75p of that is service and the drink is being served at a bar!!!!!

An absolutely amazing place to visit!! Lunch was excellent with very generous portions served in sumptuous surroundings by the most friendly and helpful staff! We viewed a few of the rooms which were stunning! The grounds and gardens are also beautiful ! We cannot wait to come back and stay. Well done to all at Manor Estelle

The place itself looks like it’s taken from a movie. The service was amazing throughout our stay and where always happy to helps us with finding activities.We came with our dog and they were amazing with her.

So beautifully decorated, and the two restaurants we ate at were incredible. Look out for courgette a lemon jam if they have a bowl of it at the breakfast buffet! But most importantly, the staff are a real credit to this place. Friendly and attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend (also, the outdoor pool is thankfully heated)

Firstly, I must commend the hotel's stunning ambiance and overall aesthetics; it truly is a remarkable place. However, I regret to say that the level of service I encountered on both occasions left much to be desired, and I believe it falls short of the standard one would expect from a 5-star establishment.During my first stay, I dined at the Brasserie and encountered an unfortunate incident where there was a hair in my food. I understand that such occurrences can happen in any establishment, but what surprised me was the lack of any proactive response. There was no complimentary adjustment to my bill, nor did anyone offer an apology for the inconvenience caused. This oversight left a lasting impression.Several months later, I returned for my second stay, and there were further issues. Firstly, both my friend's room and mine were charged to my card without my request or authorization. This was quite perplexing, as it was not the arrangement we had agreed upon. Additionally, upon check-out, it seemed that the hotel believed I had already left, despite my car still being parked at the premises and a scheduled archery activity that had been booked. This miscommunication was both confusing and frustrating.Furthermore, during a dinner at the hotel, there was an incident where we requested a dessert, believing the person serving us was our waitress. Unfortunately, the response we received was rather curt, with the staff member stating, I am the timelier

For a hotel that has only been open 3 months the professionalism and courtesy of the staff was amazing. A few bedding in bits and pieces but to be expected. The upcoming spa opening should make it more rounded as a 'club'.
