Mrs. Beightons Sweet Shop
Absolutely appalling attitude. I visited and enquired about some sweets. I was met by a rude man who was terribly rude in his attitude and mannerisms towards us. Each comment was met by an arrogant, odd handish response. I have never felt so unwelcome which I suppose is the goal.I can see why there’s hardly anyone inside the shop with that attitude, it’s no surprise at all. Avoid if you’re an ethnic minority as you’re clearly not welcome in this shop and are made to feel this way. I will be spreading the word to others so they don’t visit either.

A quaint vintage sweet shop located in the heart of Haworth.With a large verity of sweets and drink. Friendly staff at a great price. I highly recommend stopping in to help with the sweet tooth

Owner answered a query on the telephone, I then put in an order online, customer service excellent. Delivery quick, presentation of sweets amazing and sweets yummy. Highly recommend using this shop.

Mrs. Beightons Sweet Shop
We always visit Mrs Beightons whenever we're in Haworth. My parents used to have a shop in the 70s, and visiting here and seeing all the sweets from my childhood is like stepping back in time. Unfortunately, we are not able to visit Haworth this Xmas so I was delighted to find that I could order from them online. The website was easy to navigate, dispatch was quick and my parcel was received within a few days. One very happy satisfied customer.

Absolutely lovely sweet shop. Loads to choose from and well priced. We bought some mega sour fruit balls, they are by far the most sour sweet I have ever tried. Well set up for social distancing. If there is line at the door it does go down relatively quickly. Many thanks.

Great choice of sweets etc, even a good non-sugar selection. However, the man in the shop made a joke about our accents. Very rude. He did apologise but...won't be going back. Unbelievable that you can spend a lot of money, be polite and friendly and then get insulted just for coming from somewhere else. Compared to the lovely man in the 'and Chocolate of Howarth' shop, this man was a disgrace.

The choice of sweets is amazing but wow the staff are really miserable and just 'off'. You get the feeling that they just don't want you there at all. I thought I'd check out the other reviews just to see if it was me but no, there are loads saying this. The shop wasn't even busy either so the excuse for their abruptness wasn't that.

Takes you back to your childhood! Being spoken to like a child! Rude staff. The sweets are cheap and nasty, taste nothing like they used. Just a tourist trap run by staff who clearly don't value their customers. Go to a local market and buy the sweets at a fraction of the cost.

Mrs. Beightons Sweet Shop
This was an amazing shop to visit, offering ice creams as well as sweets! I enjoyed a Cinder Toffee ice cream and was impressed with the variety of sweets, laid out on the shelves in their jars. The strawberry and cream sweets I bought were delicious, coming at a sensible price for how filling they are too!
