James' Places @ Bike Park Wales & The Brecon Beacons

A beautiful place to stay , when we arrived we were a little concerned about the location however when we got to see inside we were pleasantly surprised , the owners have really taken the time to make it feel homely and quirky , the outside area was beautiful and would be the perfect retreat for a couple , family or just friends looking for a quiet break away , please don’t be put off by the location , lots of things to do around the local area and the owners were so helpful , we arrived to champagne , donuts, biscuits and a card which was a lovely touch , thank you to James and his wife for making us feel relaxed after what has been a difficult year for all

A very well presented and ideally located property for walking in the Brecon Beacons and also for a cinema/shopping centre for bored teenagers. We loved the quirky items around the house and the welcoming goodies waiting for us. James and Angela are a pleasure to deal with and were helpful when I was unsure about the strict Welsh recycling regime. This is not a complaint but just feedback but I really missed having 3 small items in the kitchen-a potato masher, a bread knife and a decent non stick frying pan. My holiday usuals of shepherds pie, bangers and mash and breakfast pancakes were all the more challenging without these items. Thank you for a lovely stay and a memorable trip, we would visit again.

Absolutely fantastic place!! 10 minutes from Bike Park Wales and with a very secure bike store. The decor is amazing, I was astonished from the moment I walked in the door!! Would definitely come back here time and time again!!

I've stayed here twice, once as two families (4 adults and 4 children) and the second time with just 3 adults. Both times we had a brilliant stay. The place was very clean and well stocked with everything needed for a short stay. The decor is fantastic and adds to the fun of the stay. The hot tub works well and the outdoor area in the back is great for socialising. It's a 10 min drive from Bike Park Wales and has a very secure locker for bikes.
