Nice whisky shop stocking single casks and also providing personalised service. If you want to get recommendations from people who know what they are talking about, this is probably the place!Duncan, who gave me some recommendations for a gift is knowledgeable and easy to deal with. There were no pushy selling at all. They sounded like they just genuinely wanted to show and tell you about the different whiskies they have to offer.

This is a great place to get your favourite whisky. The staff really know a lot about their whiskies.They also offer a taste before you buy!

This shop has plenty of rare and old whisky. Andrew is very professional and helpful. I will come next time.

Good whisky shop. Large range and although prices can be dearer than other shops you can still get a good deal if you know what you're looking for. Knowledgeable and friendly staff will help you choose.I recommend joining The W Club for great deals and free tastings!

I came in here for a wander and came out with two sample sized bottles of some really dazzling stuff. I cannot remember who I spoke to, but I mentioned that I wanted to show my love to a whisky club I belong to here in Chicago and he pointed me in the direction of things that did not disappoint. And great details too.Thank you for that, and hats off—so tonight the club and I sat at a card table in an alleyway garage and one could even feel a slight briny breeze coming in, perhaps the storms off the prairie or maybe from Scotland way as we raised our glasses to the east…

Great little shop filled with interesting Whiskies for all budgets. Particularly like that you can buy a unique single cask offering from an in store selection of a 20cl, 30cl or 60cl bottle. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to discuss what might be suitable for your taste.

Stopped into the Edinburgh shop with absolutely no knowledge of whiskey, but wanted the chance to at least experience a taste. Spoke with a young man in the shop (very sorry now I did not get his name) and explained my ignorance. Based on my questions and my beer preferences he made three recommendations. My friends and I held an informal tasting and found his selections were actually much better than expensive well known whiskies. Will be returning on my next trip to Edinburgh. Highly recommend.

To call this a “retail shop” is a real disservice. The guys working there are knowledgeable and happy to take time to find a unique whisky that suits your palate. Many of the bottles are available to taste and if you’ll take the time to learn they’ll happily take the time to explain the process and what makes so many of their bottles extremely unique. My advice is to take a little time, listen to the story and spend a few extra bucks to get something that you wouldn't otherwise be able to buy anywhere else in the world.
