Trotters Riding School & Livery Yard

I want to say a massive thankyou to Sally Rands Trotters Riding School. My daughter now 13 yrs has spent over 3 years riding regularly and has come from complete beginner to intermediate/advanced. She now owns her own pony, bought from Jay Jay Rand at Trotters and with massive support competing in her own shows and enjoying every minute. I cannot thank Sally and everyone at Trotters Riding School enough. Sally is a true professional and wants every child to master the art of horsemanship. Thankyou

My daughter has been taught by Sally for more than 5 years and keeps her pony at Trotters. Sally is an excellent, encouraging, patient instructor who genuinely wants every rider to have the best possible experience. Always professional and friendly, she's created a yard with such a positive supportive environment with well cared for ponies. My daughter absolutely loves it there and I can't recommend highly enough.

I have ridden at trotters since I was around 9 and it was the best decision I have made. They are all so welcoming and kind, a great learning curve and you really get taught all the things you need to become a great rider. I now have a pony that was bought off of jay jay rand a little over a year ago, and now thanks to sally, I am able to do all these great things on my own pony. It is also great for the social aspect as there is always people there to be welcoming and if you are unsure they will take the time and effort until you feel safe and comfortable. I completely recommend this place xxx

Trotters Riding School I have to say the best riding schools around Both my girls benefit from Sally's professional approach to learning. They have both grown into confident riders. Sally and her team have been nothing but kind and naturering when teaching and especially when they have activities and pony days on the most well behaved ponys. There is always fun and laughter in all of Sally's lessons. Overall highly recommended to novice and experienced riders to have a blast with professional,kind,caring and fun team of people.

My daughter absolutely loves her two weekly lessons with Sally and all the team at trotters, she has started as a complete novice and is now coming on really well it is a joy to watch, when the time is right we will be definitely be buying one of she sale pony's that trotters have trained up and will be keeping him/her there. Sally and all the staff are absolutely amazing and we would 100 % recommend xx

There is not enough words to describe how amazing Sally and the team are at Trotters! Their ponies are all so well kepted, schooled and generally loved!! Sally always insures in the lessons everyone gets a 1 to 1 on the lunge which is amazing for my daughters progress! Love it so much down there that I've actually purchased one of JayJays own ponies that she has produced and she's an absolute dream!! Thank you so much Team Trotters for our favourite place to go xx

I was a little bit apprehensive to take my daughter, due to the amount of support needed and having no experience.But wow. Sally and Emma are absolutely fantastic. The whole team are! The horses are beautiful and really well looked after.Whether you are a beginner or an expert, all treated the same and with the best care and attention. These sessions have really helped my 4 year old, and she really looks forward to them.Absolutely no need to look elsewhere, if you're on their page you've already found the best!

Trotters are amazing - my daughter has just spent the last 3 weeks doing 2 hour ride outs on a Wednesday and intermediate pony days on a Thursday, she even got to take part in her first dressage competition (next year she’s hoping to do the showjumping too). The stable management and horse care lessons have been so welcomed and valued - a rare find. It’s helped to provide a much wider appreciation of horse riding. A special mention for the fabulous Sally you have a lovely yard, with welcoming and friendly people and fantastic ponies. Alice is going to miss Trotters, her new friends and especially the ponies. She takes away some lovely experience, fabulous memories and new knowledge - till the next holidays, when I know that Trotters will be a large part of them.

We love trotters riding school , my daughter has her own pony but she still attends trotters pony day , full of pony fun , she loves it. Sally and the staff are always so helpfully and dedicated to making sure everyone has such a great time. Highly recommended to anyone
