Really honest and God workmanshipI knew and knew my car was mint but were given pre check advisories on brake disks that needed changing to get it to pass and on and on at tyre shops and others except my usual mechanic.But this was my first ever visit the C&S I had my taxi MOT and they did pass with an honest report with a zero advisory which is just as my regular mechanic.Really trust worthy workshop defo recommends them by 100%

Great service as usual from a very busy place. A proper family run business without the usual arrogant mechanics! Steve’s a great guy who does a good job at a good price, won’t go anywhere else.

5 Stars for these guys (more if I could). I never leave reviews to be honest but felt I wanted to today for Gary and the guys. They did my MOT this morning and fixed my door handle that I had broken, all for a great price that actually surprised me compared to other garages I have been to in the past who I feel would have charged lots more (lots of rip off merchants in the motor trade unfortunately but these guys are not one of them and make an embarrassment of the others I have been to!). They were really quick too which is great as I had thought I would need to leave the car with them for a day or so due to the broken handle but they clearly know what they are doing and fixed it with no problems at all. Thanks guys.Noticed a poor review below mine - don't let this put you off, unfortunately the reality is that you will always get cranky customers who aren't happy no matter what. That's life.I will be coming back.

Avoid this place! Really dangerous!On my last car service they changed the brakes and break pads. Since then, the car was making horrible noise. Brought the car back to C&S and explained the situation and they told me that the car was fine and I should repair a minor body car damage as this was causing the noise (the damage was there for two years and was causing no issues). Took the car to another garage the same day and they said that when C&S changed the brake discs and pads they did not clean the dirt and the brakes were not applied properly. Noise gone immediately after this was fixed. I attempted to contact C&S multiple times since then to discuss what happenned and Steve never bothered calling me back. His colleagues have been incredibly rude and never apologised for their mistake. I have been charged twice for the job they never did properly. In addition, they swapped my spare tire with my front tire as this was previously flat. I asked Steve multiple times if I needed to buy a new tyre but he said that my spare tyre was the same size as the rest of my tyres and I should not do that. After a while I realised that the spare tyre was not the same size. I WAS DRIVING WITH A BIGGER TYRE FOR A MONTH as I thought I had checked that and I was reassured. Of course, they denied having advised me that. Totally disappointed. Don't though your money there.

Outstanding service and very polite and helpful staff. Was able to fit in my MOT same day and for very good price will be going here for all future work on my car can't recommend enough

Really great and straightforward service. Managed to fit me in at really short notice and sorted out my problems no hassle. Honest pricing and no messing around. Even went out of his way to stay later when another unexpected issue came up as I was leaving. Could not recommend more.
