Very nice bakery. The tomato and olive flatbread was delicious.I had ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. I wanted a diary cream black forest gateau which I had seen in a leaflet. However, they only do a vegan version now. I accepted this alternative, but I have to admit I was disappointed. I would not buy a cake again. I would return to buy bread.

This is my regular stop off on bike rides. Incredible to get such choice for vegans, and all super delicious. Staff also really friendly. You should go

I bought a birthday cake that wasn't terribly good unfortunately. I am not sure if I would go back.

I've visited this bakery a few time and absolutely love it! It caters for my dietary requirements brilliantly and everything I've tried so far has been delicious - would recommend the yum yums!

Lovely sweet treats and pretty good coffee. All vegan (but you wouldn't know,) and I'll return to try the foot long vegan sausage roll ❤️

All local businesses that we approached to help us ensure a loved one that was passing, so had an urgent marriage all planned within 2hrs, helped us with either freebies or discounts. Such kindness and empathy. All except coughlans. We needed a cake. They only have gatuea which would have been just as good. But wouldnt come down from £35 for it. Sadly our budget with the situation as was, didnt leave us enough. They had no interest in helping a young family being torn apart, just enjoy one last moment of happiness.Shame on you Coughlans bakery! Will boycott as a family always!

This chain company have the audacity to describe themselves as an artisan bakery, and boast 'handcrafted' products. Everything in the shop was generic and seemed to be full of additives, colouring, palm oil and the like, I mean just the bottom of the range Food Shaped Objects, most of it just made in a factory somewhere, and wrapped in vast amounts of plastic and trucked in. Even the ingredients list on the hot cross buns was pretty horrifying. Not a proper bakery at all, didn't dare try the bread, I imagine it tastes like the industrial foam 'bread' they sell in the supermarket . Staff friendly but clueless. If you want a REAL bakery try Sussex Kitchen or Cyrnel Bakery (products sold at The Seasons and other outlets) .
