Visited Spice many times with friends. Food is very nice.Nice friendly staff. All the time visited I was lucky enough to have parked outside the restaurant.Nice and big restaurant. Sometimes could be short of a staff at front of house.

Me and my family thought we would try something different today and we found Spice online. Funnily enough, it’s a 3min drive from our house and have been going past it for years. Firstly, the service is very good, the food is superb and you can tell the other customers are regulars. Will definitely be coming back here with friends!

I have been eating here ever since it opened. I must have had thousands of curries over the years, so it is about time I left a review! Always spot on, and the staff are absolutely lovely. Just writing this review, I have realised I need to get another curry tonight. Not sure what they put in it, but it is a bit addictive.

Food arrived bang on time. Reasonably priced I guess. Meat Samosa was very thin. Not much filling. Spicing was so subtle as to be almost non existent. Not much flavour. Vegetable curry was too oily and really not nice to eat. Tarka daal was too lumpy and far too much garlic even for me. Chicken Biryani had hardly any flavour and tasted like the chef forgot to add any of the fragrant spices that you expect from this classic dish. All items was severely under-seasoned. I will not be ordering food from Spice Barkingside again.

We’ve been eating here forever and is one of our favourite curry houses. Kalik the owner is as friendly as you’d like and I can honestly say I’ve never ever had a bad experience.

Following a recommendation from a friend, this was my first time here, and it won't be the last. Already a good sign was that the restaurant was a lot busier than I'd expect for a random Wednesday evening. Service was attentive without being over fussy, food quality was consistently high, portion sizes for mains in particular were ample, and even though we'd never been there before, the proprietor made us feel especially welcome. A+NB Parking is in bays outside, operated by RingGo, so you may want to consider alternative ways of getting to and from there.

My favourite Indian by far everyone I know loves it here. I have family travel great distances to visit us and without fail they request this restaurant. Been coming for years and never had a bad experience
