Great selection of Christmas gear, dress up as mini-me twins with mom/dad. Loved the festivities and it's only November.

Really disappointing that they have so few staff on tills now. Its not the customer's choice and we are guided (or forced) to use self check out, some of us want to deal with humans!!. Also on my visit building was demonstrating roof leaks, and lazy closing of aisles to complete restocking. Sainsbury's should try harder. And while I'm moaning I think it's unfair to impose that staff have to work boxing day, come on people we don't need to go shopping, let the staff have a holiday, vote with your feet!!!!

Visited the cafe prior to shopping. At 2.40 they stopped serving hot food .There was no gluten free options for cake or sandwiches , so we didnt stay .The toilets were filthy and had no soap .The supermarket toilet was out of order .When I went back up to the cafe over an hour later to use the toilet , there was still no soap and dirty toilets !

As a shop it's set out ok. Don't like pricing for example item £3 but if you have a card it's £1.75 that just does not make any sense. We use smart shop as it's supposed to be better and faster so why is it almost every time we go in we get stopped at checkout and have a dozen or so items checked ( never had one wrong) if you say something you get looked down apon by the stuck up staff member and told it's random . Yep right.

I have visited Supermarket on Saturday early evening, end of September 2023. Wasn't very busy.I was needed just couple of items from fresh section. Shop is tidy, is well lit.I needed to use WC, but customer toilet was out of order. Upstairs in a café area another set on WC which is very helpful.The way to the parking kind of hidden. It is from your left hand side lifting up, and it is narrow.

It’s a great store in most ways until you try to pay. Most of the tills have been replaced by self service. I cannot emphasise enough how destructive this is to the image of the place. There can’t be more than 6 remaining tills and they are buckling under the workload. There are nice happy staff desperately trying to convince people to use the self service but “we don’t want to”. Trying to reprogram your customers like this makes for an awful experience.

One till open Friday teatime! Most stock has moved and even the staff can't locate items. Shelf prices wrong, stock item have one price at their shelf location and a different price in their end shelf specials slot. Rows wrongly labeled, sweets and nuts has crisps and nuts, while sweets are in another row. This is the second week of chaos, with manager that can't shave yet producing an awful customer experience. One star is too much.
