We've been with this surgery over 40 years but not for much longer! Every obstacle is put in your way when you have to see a doctor. I had a message from the doctor to make an appointment to discuss test results and so far have been unable to make an appointment. Tried 112 and 70 times to get through and suprise suprise - no appointments left. Told each time to try again tomorrow. You can't now book an appointment at the counter only by phone. Unable to book anything in advance even though requested by the doctor. This used to be such a good doctors. Sadly no more.

I've been a patient at this practice for two years and haven't had any nasty interactions with staff as some people have outlined below. I have, however, witnessed other patients being extremely rude and impatient with the reception team. I can imagine that it's a very difficult job to have! Each reception staff I've encountered has been kind and respectful. In regard to the running of this doctor's surgery, I've found it difficult to make appointments in the past as the phone lines are so unbelievably clogged in the morning. It is also impossible to make appointments in person for any other day than the one you call on; as a teacher, this makes life unreasonably difficult as I can't get covered without 24 hours notice. I understand pandemic stressors, but the public should be able to forward plan appointments as a bare minimum, in my opinion. There have also been times that the doctors are slow to action prescriptions. However, every time I go to see somebody, it's always a locum doctor without specific ties to the surgery, so I'm not surprised. The actual building is clean and tidy, if a little dated and tired. Aren't we all though?Overall, it's not a bad doctor's surgery. It's also a 3 minute walk for me, so it was very convenient.

Useless. 30weeks pregant with an infected abscess. Tried calling and the phone wasn't switched on, 325 attempts to call where you just get cut off, I tried booking in person. Was told I must book via phone even though there was NO ONE in the reception. Showed the phone with the missed calls, didn't care. Ended up breaking down in tears the amount of pain I'm in, can't take pain meds apart from paracetamol, can't take anti inflammatories due to pregnancy and I've no antibiotics because you can't just buy them.... they were going to leave me with an untreated infection whilst pregnant!!! Luckily it clicked in their heads and they booked me a phone appointment. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the Dr booked me in for a face to face to make sure I'm OK and check the area and my midwife is nice.Reception need a lesson in common sense though.

moved out the area but returned to the greens when I returned as I have always had good service, yes I don't bother the doctors much but even I do I have a A one service doctor riley brilliant doctor no stone left unturned, front of house staff ok but probably need a bit of training and they will be there, office / surgery manager excellent had an issue and sorted within a few minutes. just a little training for the front of house staff and you will a 5 star service no regrets from me and my family from the service so far under these unprecedented time.

They have a phone for appointment system, lines are supposed to open at 8am.Never been able to get through before 10.30am and to be told no appointments left, call again tomorrow, no care or concern just call again tomorrow.Same situation every day, like groundhog day, after 4 days, I went to the surgery at 8am, not a single person / patient in the waiting area, asked for an appointment a d was told no you have to phone us, felt like they just didn't want anyone in the reception or waiting area disturbing their chatting with each other.Told them been trying to call for days but did not care one iota, sat on one the waiting area chairs reception staff look horrified and greatly put out at having some in patient waiting area, tried calling and put it on speaker phone.Ringing on my phone theirs never rang, told staff why is your phone not ringing it after 8am, another disgruntled response of we haven't switched over the phones yet, why are they being paid for tax payers money to provide medical care and sitting around chatting and not turning the phones on.When it finally clicked in her head and switched the phones on they never stopped ringing, could not get through, no calling queue just call back and cuts you off.You could write a twilight story about this place, when finally got through 35 minutes later while sitting in the waiting area, they still insist on upon speaking on the phone despite the fact I was stood in front oh her, refused to talk like a normal person face to face, no no will only talk down a phone line and then said no appointments left ring back tomorrow. If you don't have enough staff to treat the patients you are being paid for by the government, then employ more staff / doctors, if you don't do that then you are obtaining monies by deception which constitutes fraud. Before registering patients you should ensure you have enough staff and know how many staff for the amount of patients you are registering, if every day you don't have enough appointments to meet the needs of the patients then you have registered them under false pretence of care and being paid for having them registered.Obtaining money for falsely agreeing to supply a service is fraud and of the worst kind when it is taking money from the sick.If all the appointments are gone within 30 minutes each day those who book appointments on the reception are taking money for doing virtually nothing because after 8.35am there are no more appointments available to book, just another waste of money desperately needed to treat the sick.It is blatantly obvious the patients are just an inconvenience to the reception staff and the surgery as a whole, go and look for yourself, not a soul in the patient waiting area, just a very quiet reception with the staff who look at you when walk like you are an intrusion and an attitude to match the look on their faces.

I would give it a no stars and what a racist place to have to come to see your doctor. Yes, I'm sat there and I'm a Google reviewer and the way I was spoken to by the Asian receptionist was well out of order and other people agreed as she sat there and lied about the situation. Check your cameras before you listen to her and you'll just how wrong and racist she was. As a white woman approached the window in the exact same manner and got a different reply. Even threatening to cancel my appointment cause I wanted to make a complaint. Please try and find a different doctors as their is no respect for patients in this one.

Very unhelpful today my son needed a prescription which the chemist stated they only have another size and that I should ask the doctor to increase the size for me to claim the prescription on that day. When I went back to the medical practice to ask for this request to be done I was denied and told to go to another chemist. Preventing me from getting the prescription that day leaving my son having to wait even longer for no reason. I suggest the admin staff on the desk today in the reception seek out training on customer service and solution focus approaches to improve your low rating of your surgery

It’s such a good job I changed from this doctor. With all my symptoms I had I was told to book online blood test which can take months for a slot. Turns out I’ve had a stroke. Thank God my new doctor got straight onto it... if I’d have stayed with this doctor who knows my out come. They need reporting. The receptionists shout there head off at you and make you feel like you shouldn’t be calling. Neglect comes to mind

I would have to disagree with Nathan Anderson, the Asian lady is well polite and helpful, with all colours in the community, I have been there when some patients get rude and aggressive, so fair play to her if she stood up for herself rather then taking any abuse. I feel the staff here do their best.
