Lovely friendly little cafe, we sat outside with gorgeous paninis and coffees. Doesn't look fancy from outside but really liked it!!!

It lives up to its reputation. Very popular with locals. Had a superb cappuccino and coxhina (minced chicken rissole) plus ham and cheese rissole with a couple of pastel de nata to take away. All freshly baked on the premises. Really nice and helpful staff. Carb heavy haha, but a nice treat as I was in Oxford for the day and worth the detour.

Great place for food or a coffee. Great atmosphere. gets really busy so sometimes there can be a little wait. But well worth it in my eyes. Great spot

Don’t let the rundown look of this cafe deceive you! The food is really fantastic! Had the pergo and egg tart for lunch! Really nice! They also own the Berkshire pub next door. You can order your food from Akiport and dine with drinks at Berkshire.

Really good food, kind staff. But the place is not so good. This is a cafe that I would buy the food and go to a park. The coxinha was amazing!

Had a great value English breakfast whilst staying locally. Neither of us was very hungry so they very kindly gave us a second plate to allow us to share. Coffee was delicious and we had super friendly service with a great Portuguese buzz to the place.

Very nice staff who are happy to help provide the food you’d like, I’m not into coffee and this place does amazing hot chocolate. The nuggets, chips and garlic bread (or bolo do caco in Portuguese!) are amazing too! I haven’t tried the pastel de natas but they’re super popular (probably for good reason) but the coxinhas with chicken, spinach and mozzarella and the prawn rissoles are great!

Incredible food for very low prices. The pastel de natas are the best I've had, and the baguettes are 2/3 the price you'd find in Oxford City Centre. The waiter who took my order and served y food was very friendlyand happy to explain what the pastries were. Great place for breakfast or lunch!

20240702: Akiport CaféLooking for reliable signs of quality in a café, one can do worse than look at its popularity, its patronage and their first language. Many times I've passed Akiport Café on Oxford’s Abingdon Road, and noticed how busy it was, so on an overcast Sunday, I decided to check it out, while en route to nearby Lake Street Nursery’s, Summer fête.Overwhelmingly, people were speaking Portuguese, and tucking in with enthusiasm, to the many delightful offerings reminding them of their cultural roots. For me, the Pasteis de Nata (Portuguese custard tarts) called with a siren-like song, to be joyfully washed down with a decent cup of Cappuccino – both offering the perfect preparation for an afternoon hike on the the Thames Path.Parking is a challenge on this busy and narrow thoroughfare, so catch a bus, or stroll down from Oxford City, and enjoy tasty treats – you'll not be disappointed.
