As above, my daughter had a driving test at Portsmouth (the centre is within the car park) and we were unfamiliar with the area, so therefore entered the car park after 6pm so that she could see where she would start and finish her test. The next day, on arrival for her test, we were approached by security and told that our car had been logged entering the night before and that we would be charged £150 for mere entry into the car park (which is off a roundabout with signs to the Driving test centre). The lovely man then went on to suggest that my daughters test may not be able to proceed because the driving test centre had been informed. The penalty is clearly disproportionate to the “crime” and is another example of a private company taking advantage of people. If I had parked, I would have understood. Whilst, in the clear light of day, there are signs that say no one should enter, turn around, cough, sneeze, park, practice, breathe in the vicinity of the car park), the £150 charge is kept back from the road so it’s a nice surprise for the motorist. The penalty (for 2 mins of entry on the hallowed tarmac of the car park) will not be paid.

It's a drudge up the hill after you get off the bus especially of ypu have mobility issues. There are cameras on entering, but only one in the actual car park [ B ] and the car park is quite stretched out. Buses are regular though so you're in work in 10 minutes.

My son and I entered the car park to visit the area ready for his driving test on Monday after entering the car park for less than 2 minutes we were approached aggressively by the old security man .He demanded we get out of the car and show us the parking signs and told us not to return again .He told my son to remove his learner plates and asked if I am qualified to drive the car out of the car ?Why has he asked if I am licensed driver ?He had threatened and bullied and jnterogated both us to a very personal level .My son was very upset to the stage he will reschedule his driving test .I plan to take this much further as I am not first he has bullied reading a review below.I will take legal action against him .

Not bad, except I can't park at work! Often have to wait quite a while in the afternoon/evening

Buses don't always run on time. This is very frustrating. Drivers are very friendly. I would rather not have to rely it but have no choice. So each day just expect the buses to be late. I'm pretty sure there is not 4 an hour and 8 at peak times.
