I was going to shop in here, until I saw the sign..... Wrexham, live dangerously, there's more to live than 6 tomato sausage........ Surely no matter what a customer might want, be it a slice of of or 10 sirloins.... They shouldn't be made to feel guilty about it

I can’t recommend the services of Giles, Russel and Rupert at Hugh John Jones Butchers highly enough. Since making them my regular point of call for all my meaty needs I not only have benefited from high quality produce which I can taste the difference at the dinner table every evening but also fantastic conversation and first class service where nothing is too much trouble if you ask politely. Unparallel to anywhere I’ve ever shopped. Go in and ask about their history and tradition. It’s well worth a listen. I’d now consider them good friends. Thank you guys very much. This is a great butcher the old school type where you get the best meat, clean and always the welcome smile and friendly service. You gotta go there, I do all the time.

I called in yesterday to see what was on offer ,I ended up meat shopping for the week . Lovely meat ,Russ and the other butcher were great to chat to and full of advice and recommendations.

One of a few traditional butchers left in Wrexham and it is clear why.Have used Hugh John Jones butchers for many years now and it never fails to please both in quality of local produced product and service.The present owner Giles Jones has kept up the family tradition of supplying outstanding locally sourced meats reducing its carbon footprint and keeping local farmers in business.They also sell a range of other locally sourced products such as beer, further supporting local business’s.This week I was recommended their “home cured bacon” which when cooked in the oven was a taste sensation!I cannot recommend this butcher enough and as with all local family run business’s we must “use them or loose them” and that would be a great shame to Wrexham if we lost this butcher!

Great service, meat brilliant will do any cut you want. Will deliver when requested. The guys are brilliant nothing is ever too much trouble. Will be purchasing all Christmas items from them. Try the free range eggs they are fantastic.

Amazing service. First time in a butchers, ever. They are the nicest people you will meet and they were very helpful and patient with us. Will definitely go back again
