A nice pub. Friendly staff and good food, with a good atmosphere. Friday & Saturday nights they have music (they have a dance floor, it does get used).

The steak was cooked as per requested. My cod and chips were nice, but the cod was slightly crispy, overcooked

We took my husband's elderly aunt who lives just around the corner, for lunch. She hadn't ever been but as it was walking distance and they were dog friendly, it was our only choice. We were made very welcome, the food and wine were excellent and we had a really lovely visit. The young waitress was delightful. Next time we get a day off and can treat his auntie to lunch, we will definitely be back with our little dog. Thanks very much x

For the money the food is OK, but really nothing special. As a pub, it's got a good selection of drinks, has live music or a DJ some nights and isn't a bad place to spend an evening

Nice public house, quite modern but still keeping that wonderful traditional feel that I remember as a younger man. Beer garden was very inviting too as was the staff. Would've given it a 5 star but haven't experienced the true experience as was a bank holiday and didn't get the whole experience as a crowded atmosphere would have given. Gonna go again that's for sure. I'm quite sure it'll be a 5 star rating next time.
