Church St Car Park

Way more expensive than the central carpark literally 5 minutes walk away and more difficult to park in. There are lots of complaints about unfair fines even for people who pay. It’s owned by a notorious private parking company well know to fine people for nothing. Not worth the hassle so just avoid and park in the council owned car park instead.

A privately owned, camera operated car park that has seen several complaints on local Facebook pages. Always worth parking in the central (council owned) car park for cheaper rates.

AVOIDIt has now been proven that many penalties are issued incorrectly to drivers using this car park. They will not contact you and then hand off the notice to debt collectors without notifying you. Do not park hereI have recently seen Google hid my review. Discusting

Not a better location than other car parks, not better kept and more expensive. Unfortunately I learned the hard way that it has ANPR cameras at the entrance and so while I took an extra few minutes to help a disabled family member out of and into the car (I was there 14mins too long- I know that's my fault!) I was given a huge £60 fine that goes up to £100 after 4 days of arriving in the post. Will never park here again and don't recommend it at all.
