I’ve used York windows three times now . No problems at all ever, great quality great price .. Mark the owner easy to get on with , fitters & rest of staff fantastic . Highly recommend!!

STAY WELL AWAY. Delivered our window with a crack in it, no keys and with scratches on the handles. Would not refund any money and when I spoke to them on the phone they said they would ‘rip me apart.’

Had all my windows and doors from this company and can’t fault them at all. The price was better than anyone else in the Wigan area very happy with the quality, came when they said they would. The fitting team are very neat and tidy. Thanks very much. Andy D

Many thanks to York Windows for the making and fitting of 14 windows and 2 doors completed to a very high standard and at a competitive price. Everyone at York Windows are friendly, very helpful and gave good advice regarding our order. Special thanks to Taylor and Daryl who removed the old frames and fitted the new without damage to the plaster around the frames. We fully expected to have to redecorate round the frames. The windows and doors are fitted to an amazing standard and we are especially pleased with the finish around the bay windows. Taylor and Daryl are excellent fitters and they work non stop. They removed all our wooden frames and glass and left everywhere clean and tidy. We have no hesitation in recommending York Windows.

I've just had French doors and and two windows fitted by York which even included knocking out a window to create the door space. The work carried out is superb and I couldn't be happier.

Yesterday we had a new front door installed by York Windows. Previously, they had installed all our windows and french doors, so we knew we were in safe hands. The decision on choosing the right door has taken some time. Choosing a front door presents an entire array of complexities, with such a choice of materials and designs as well as the expense, one never anticipated the anxiety that pushing through the gauntlet of materials,  style, glazing, handles, locks and finishes presents itself.After settling on customising every element of design and materials we settled on a composite door for additional security.The fitter, (Mark), arrived and from the first exchange he was very courteous. He examined the old door, explained what had to be done, and how he was going to do it.The previous door installation had been complexed, and the brick work which was arched had been modified to straightlined, and a lintel inserted. So this was going to be a custom fit, requiring additional plinth work which would need more than a standard fitting approach to the task.Our expectations were exceeded by Mark. His mitre work was so very accurate and precise, Minimising the amount of sealant on show, which so many other installers often use to hide bad or lazy measurement and standard of work.It was a joy watching Mark perform the installation, and was akin to a masterclass.On finishing, he consulted on handle placement and positioning, taking into account hand space and clearance. The attention to detail was just next level, indeed, he commented several times on how much he loved the fit, and the manner in which the door blended with the brickwork and decor.When completed, Mark cleaned up, and without exception, one would never have known we had just had a fitter work on the front of the house - His work ethic was immaculate.We now have a super smooth door with high level security with a design and colour that compliments the house beautifully. We cannot recommend the company, and especially this fitter highly enough.So here we are, at the end of a project that took almost 2 years to settle on the right colour, materials design and finish. Thanks to York Windows, it ended on a high with a signature piece that we can be proud of. Furthermore, with a 10 year warranty, we also have piece of mind.

I recently had new windows and a back door installed by York Windows. From start to finish Iwas happy with the service I received. The two lads that installed them where very friendly and left everything clean and tidy. The girls in the office where lovely and kept me up to date with what was happening. I would highly recommend York Windows.
