We've just shared the most amazing curries in The Gurkha's Inn. The polite service was topped off by the very tasty food. We had butter chicken and gurkha fish curry with mushroom rice and peshwari naan. All were top notch. It's definitely worth hunting out this hidden gem - you won't be disappointed.

By far the best Nepalese I've ever had!I tried a few new things and was blown away. I really recommend the Pokhareli haans, which was kind of a creamy cold duck salad, almost had a kind of Thai vibe to the flavours, and the choyala, which was an absolutely phenomenonal lamb dish. Seriously good flavour and texture.

I found the food of this restaurant as average as some of the items were good and some of the items were not good in taste at all. Garlic naan, daal and momos were good in taste, but the main course curries like aloo saag (which we didn’t order and gave as a replacement :)), cauliflower was not good. It had some kind of old smell coming from them. While telling this to owner, he mentioned that its some spice taste, which we didn’t agreed.The total time took by the restaurant to serve our starters and main course was close to 1 hour. I don’t blame them as we went there in group of 12-14 people, but restaurant was completely empty when we went there.I don’t recommend this place for good Indian food.

Great place with great food.Had a few dishes and they were all very tasty! Staff were amazing! Chef popped out the kitchen to ensure we were happy with our food which is always a nice touch.

An exceptional meal; the menu for two. I served with the Brigade in HK and this was comparable with the best. Full of herbs and spices, this food brought back memories of time in Pokhara. Plus, a great team on site - enthusiastic, helpful and authentic. Highly recommended.

The restaurant's atmosphere was brilliant, and the staff were exceptionally hospitable. The chef's personal attention to our preferences and allergies was a pleasant surprise. The food arrived on time, and it was delicious.I want to express my sincere gratitude to Sabrina (The server) and the chef for their fantastic service and food. If you're looking for quality Indian and Nepalese cuisine with reasonable portions, I highly recommend this place. Thank you again!

Outstanding service with outstanding food. The wife and myself both went for the Meat Thali, the flavours were incredible and the food cooked to perfection. This just might be the best Gurkha house I've ever been in my life. The team in the kitchen also all came out and said Namaste". Brilliant place and if I come back to torquay again I would definitely eat here. Thank you so much."
