Wickes Swansea

Ordered a kitchen and had it fit by Wickes 3 years ago. If I could go back in time I would slap my past self and warn them of the incoming barrage of problems that are incoming.It took near 6 month before everything we ordered for the kitchen eventually came and got fitted. We even had to get external contractors in to finish some of the lighting because Wickes just didn't get around to it.The sink - I could move it by hand within a year since all of the poor sealant used has completely come off, so its now resting on a shelf in the cupboard underneath.The countertops aren't level, you csn have hours of fun watching water pool up against the wall and giving any tiny people a new one way waterside.The oven/hobs aren't installed straight. Initially I thought it was just my eyes, but several plumbers and contractors who've come in for other jobs near the kitchen have all commented on how wonky it is. Maybe it wasn't my eyes, the person installing it must have been cross-eyed or didn't want to ask if they could borrow one of my rulers or protracters from my old school pencilcase.They kindly fitted a cupboard to hide the ugly boiler we have on the wall. I use the term fitted" loosely as it isn't actually attached to the wall at all

Today was my first time in Wilkes Swansea. I found a high standard of customer service. I met a guy, Ryan, who was very busy moving stock, Once I asked him for the product I was looking for, immediately took me to the place and showed me the product. At the tills was building a queue and a man who was around jumped on the till. Congratulations. Good service.

Good selection, for builders and home owners or tenants. Prices range from acceptable to medium. But some stuff, you may find even cheaper, at other similar stores, around Swansea. Choice of kitchen is ok. Bathrooms and showers to, but as I wrote above, from medium to slightly higher prices.

Love this store, the manager and his staff are very approachable and helpful, I highly recommend

Won't be using this store again ! Advertising 4 sets of door handles in stock ! Paid for them click and collect says be ready in half hour! Got there and they say there's none there ! Drove 15 miles only to have to go to Bridgend to pick them up !!! Another 15 miles ! Not impressed at all !

Too early to say how things will pan outas goods havnt been delivered yet.but Darren and Neil at tills and 2 other men today,couldnt have been more helpful and friendly.thank you.

I really like Wickes. The stuff is so easy to find when you go in. The staff are usually really knowledgeable about the stock. The quality of the doors is really good.

I love this place. I have read about the lack of staff, but I know what I need for the job and help myself. There is never more than a few people in front of me at the till and sometimes no queue at all. Trade pro prices too! Well done wickes.

No good for delivery no good for Astaf play all day. He didn’t bring that delivery to me. Please not order from Wickes very bad company very bad delivery
