Enterprise Car Hire - Glasgow Airport

Very easy to pick up and return the car, the car is new and clean，Choose full insurance including glass and wheels，and very pleasant trip to Isle of Skye.

The car we got was a lovely new car. The staff were very helpful and it was easy to find once we landed. However there was an extra deposit to pay when we landed and we didn’t expect that. They kept that deposit because of a minuscule mark on one of the tyres. It’s so tiny that it’s hard to know whether or not it was there before. I disputed it and got no where.I rent cars everywhere I go and this was not a great experience overall

Long time enterprise loyal customer, I will never use Enterprise again, read the reviews, this whole mark on the tire is a scam. I returned the vehicle the Glasgow Enterprise rep immediately starts scanning the tires, which I knew was oddly fishy. And then immediately points out a scuff that’s on the tire and claims that the scuff is “equivalent to a punctured tire” and therefore they have to reclaim my damage deposit.

I travel a lot internationally and end up renting a lot of cars. Invariably my experience is underwhelming as the people I interact with generally can't disguise the fact they feel alienated from their work. However, renting from Enterprise at Glasgow airport last week, I was fortunate enough to be checked out and checked in by Amy. I would be very surprised if there is a more polite and amiable young lady in the whole of Glasgow. She charmed my wife and me with her friendly demeanor, showing a genuine interest in us, and going out of her way to explain all the minor details of the rental agreement. Thank you, Amy, you have definitely guaranteed our business again, and we plan to be regular customers now we have family in the city.

We had so many issues with them. First, they gave us a car with no gas in it (it was our mistake not to check, so make sure you double check!). When we asked if they could refund the amount of gas paid, they said yes and then proceeded to refund us the whole amount of the car rental by mistake.To correct their mistake, they sent an invoice by mail to a different country (it ended up arriving 3 months later), and since we didn't respond to their request as quickly as they expected they put us on a Rental Car Do Not Rent List. They refused to remove us from the list, because they had to use card information from a previous reservation

Visited Enterprise at Glasgow quite late in the evening (20:30ish) and was greeted cheerfully by both members of staff. Very slick process, nice new and clean vehicle and good explanation of the process. Got a follow up call today to check if everything was ok with the car and to inform me that my deposit had been refunded. Excellent experience from start to finish

My partner and I hired a car from here last minute after booking one with another rental company who could not take a debit card. Paul J helped us in an absolute crisis and we are so thankful for him putting us at ease. His customer service and willingness to help made us feel so much better, couldn’t recommend enterprise enough and especially having Paul J help you out!

This is a piece of advice to would-be-renters to thoroughly document the condition of the car with photos and videos, as they are extremely picky at this location. You will be faulted for any minor scratch or, in our case, a small misalignment of the bumper, which was there upon pick-up.

On the first look everything looked okay and went smoothly, however in the first minute of the rental when we wanted to sit in the car at the branch, we realized for the 9 seat car 2 of the back seats did not work properly (could not lift them up /close them down so they were faulty and in used condition), we immediately told it to the staff, they were helpful, but could not fix it so they just apologized and gave us an other vehicle. However at the end of the rental they notified us that we were responsible for the seat damages, for some reason they only mentioned that we ruined only one seat, probably if they claimed that we ruined 2 seats in the first minute, would be too unrealistic.So as they were probably not happy that we did not buy insurance and they did not get commission, they charged us for damage for GBP 1750..They also charged us for around 150 GBP for fueling service, while we clearly stated at the beginning that we will bring it back with a full tank. However fortunately we had the receipt for fueling near Glasgow airport and they had to cancel that charge after we filed an other query for that..Conclusion in my view is that if you do not buy insurance or any extra service, they will try to get some extra money out of you in any ways possible even if you do everything perfectly and bring the car back in the same condition.
