Spent a few hours in the workshop turning a railway spike into a knife. It was amazing and well worth it. Learning how to do some blacksmithing was really interesting and it’s great to support small businesses in the local community.

My wife bought me a knife-making workshop with Darren which was an absolute blast of an experience!! Not only was the actual blacksmithing super fun but Darren himself has to receive high praise for the his knowledge, banter, stories and just all round kindness! We had a great experience forging a pair of knives from old American railway spikes. It's very hands on, physical work, but made very accessible with some expert oversight from Darren. It's a thoroughly rewarding process, and nice to be able to walk away with something special that you yourself have made. I'd 100% recommend this to anyone who is considering it.
