It's great to be able to park in a safe parking spot for free.From here you can enjoy a walk in the park, stroll into town or easily access Chelmsford Bowling Club.

Clean and tidy, can be a little hairy leaving due to driver's going faster than the speed limit at times

Small car park but well placed to visit Admirals park. No charge to park but check signs for closing times as gates do get locked shut.

Perfect place to rest a car and visit the east parks.

Excellent free parking off Roxwell Road right by the gardens, tennis courts, cricket pitch and a short walk to children's playpark and paths to city centre/ Central Park and Writtle.Free parking between car park gate opening at 10:00am (for some absurd reason) rather than a more user friendly time and closing that varies according to time of year and twilight hours. No charge or penalty so long as you park with your chosen bay and leave before closing of the gate. Overnight parking prohibited. Four disabled bays and public toilets 3 mins walk towards the bridge over the river.
