I have to say after reading some bad reviews about their kittens, that I bought my gorgeous Persian from there 3/4 yrs ago and I have to say he is the most friendly, cheeky,ball of fluff I've ever had, best purchase ever!! I love this pet store!! With his best friend, our Shih Tzu!!

Extremely expensive and rude staff who are overly precious about their ‘scales’! If the scales are that priceless, put a sign up asking customers not to touch them instead of patronisingly telling my daughter to ‘not play with them’!! Left with a very subdued little one - won’t be back again! Panic over, your scales are safe! Fuming!

I went in this pet shop today, I was appalled they had 3 kittens in a tiny cage, one had terribly weepy eyes. My daughter begged me to buy all 3 and save them. Unfortunately I don't have that kind of money as they were nearly £1000 each. The little weepy eyed one is now really playing on my mind. Really hope its getting the treatment it needs.

When looking at some leads in the shop I hadn’t noticed but my dog had done a small wee on the floor. A member of staff approached me and informed me that my dog had weed. I instantly apologised and asked if I could have something to clean it up. The woman asked me to remove my dog from the shop. When asked if I could clean it up she said no I will have to deal with it as if it was a chemical spillage. I left the shop feeling like I was a naughty school child after being spoken to so rudely. I have never been made to feel this way within a store. I think the member of staff should be aware she works in a pet shop and pets do sometimes have accidents and should be more polite rather than thinking it’s acceptable to belittle people.

I highly recommend this store, we have been using Karen's Pet Market for years and years and I have had some incredible kittens and rabbits. The cats temperaments are amazing - so loving and gentle with incredible characters. Anna has amazing knowledge with breeding the right temperament to suit a family home. They are always happy to help you with any pet related concerns. Keep up the good work.

Use this fab pet shop on a regular basis. Their staff have excellent knowledge and offer lots of support.I find their pricing reasonable and very comparable to other pet shops, some items cheaper than I can get online.5*

Excellent, knowledgeable friendly. Only too happy to spend a moment chatting about the creatures feed bedding toys etc. Very well stocked shop with some products i rarely see in other shops. We put a deposit on a rabbit while we were there because they offer a boarding service until we can collect him in a couple of days. Nowhere in the area is more customer friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and understanding than Karen

Great range of products at good prices for dogs. But shocked there is no water bowl for dogs. (I appreciate the owner did offer upon request) Also shocked at the signs up about dogs. Felt very uneasy there due to these signs and attitudes. Their shop and their rules. Wish I’d read the reviews before and read the signs on the door.

As an experienced rabbit owner, I am simply disgusted with my experience in this shop with the lady behind the till. I brought a Netherland Dwarf rabbit just under a week ago. After not being allowed to handle her myself before purchasing, I was unaware of what I was getting myself into. After taking this rabbit home, I placed her to settle in a quiet room on her own as coming away from her litter mates and familiar environment is obviously stressful. We had begun handling her the next day as advised and she would run at our hands growling and scratch our skin uncontrollably. We would then pick her up and she sat on our laps fine, would eat from our hand, but shortly after she’d bite and draw blood. The breaking skin and drawing blood has since become a regular event. Having spoken to the shop, the lady was blunt and unhelpful brushing it off as anyone else’s but her own fault. She then offered to take the rabbit back at our own expense and told us she wouldn’t give any refund or credit note. We were sold a vicious rabbit for £80. I wouldn’t recommend using this shop for any kind of livestock as it is poorly done. They seem to care more about the money than the animal in question. Very disappointed.
