Worse experience ever!Visited the shop due to a puncture. I had my tyre and inner tube replaced with a brand new one. 1 hour later my tyre was flat again! This is the second time that I change my inner tube/tyre here and the second time that this happens.I definitely not recommend Evans to anyone!

Your colleague Justin was amazing yesterday and so helpful and patient in his explanations and demonstrations about electric bikes. Really deep product knowledge complemented by great people skills! A credit to Evans Cycles!

Some sales assistants were very helpful when I was looking, but when I went to buy and then pick up the bike the assistants were unhelpful and didn’t have enough information (didn’t know which model bike it was). Make sure you carefully check the bikes you buy, and make time to take them for a test ride near the store before you leave. On my bike the derailleur was set up very poorly.

I was helped buying a new bike today by Justin in the Mortimer Street store. I cannot say enough how helpful and patient Justin was. He knew exactly what he was talking about but was very happy to talk through stuff I wasn’t so familiar with. He was brilliant all round and made the whole experience 10/10. A huge thank you to Justin and the Evans team here!

Amazing bike shop, something for everyone from city bike to mountain bike, and all the gear you need. And lots of electric options to choose from as well. And honestly very reasonable pricing.A great service center for any bike, and the staff are very helpful. A must visit for anyone who is looking for a bike or has questions.

Have to say, the worst experience with a bike store.Booked a time on a Wednesday, but was warned it would be the next day to be serviced. Fine, I can deal with that. I said there was a brake issue that needed resolving. Thursday came and went, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday too. Called Tuesday asking what the hell was going on. Told hadn't finished service til Friday but needed brakes. I said get what was needed, no sir, you need to buy the discs, cos the supplier doesn't supply that disc. Fine, I order that night, pay extra for next day delivery, drop it off Thursday. Friday comes and goes, Saturday, Sunday and Monday... I turn up 9am Tuesday expecting my bike down. It's not. I literally see a mechanic walk over to the bag I dropped off five days ago. The look on his face as he pulls out the parts is 'oh'. I then get screamed at by the lead mechanic about the series of events and how I had missed my 'slot'. I replied with that I delivered my bike on time and was told it hadn't been done til Friday. He shouts acoss the shop floor that he did the service Wednesday it arrived but hadn't completed the brake check til Friday (so not completed on Wednesday, right?) I said I hadn't been called about the bike at all. Then he quips, 'then how would you know!'. 'Because I called!'.At this stage I disengage with the lead mechanic. He's shouting at me in front of over half a dozen staff and customers. The other mechanic comes over saying that he's going to sort this out and that he's trying to help me out by doing it now and if I can wait an hour for him to do it. I can't and again have yo return after work to retrieve the bike.Guess who I have to take the bike back from...? Not a beep. Barely meeting the standard to communicate back to me. Goes to charge me for just the service and not the pads, which oddly they have in stock, but not the type of disc I needed. Could have short changed the store, but I'm not built like that.Needless to say though, this store won't get another penny. Used to have my bikes service there pre pandemic, but never again. What was lacking was a simple courteous phone call explaining the next actions, instead I had to wait, call, chase, purchase, deliver, return, get screamed at and return to have my service done over 13 days.Unpleasant. Unprofessional. Unacceptable.

I personally would not shop here. Price matching has become pretty standard. The item in question, a track pump could be found 40% cheaper in another store. They did offer to price match their own website though. Why the prices in store would be different from the online store I have no clue.
