City Hall Sunderland

Yet again people are going on about the look of this new building! This doesn't mean anything. in fact the lame lad who used to be customer service centre in Fawcett street is on the new desk. Slow to grasp what you are going on about!? it has no proper reception, and you looking around like a loony trying to find it upon entering, this might be to stop people wondering in and getting attention. in the mean time the pavement next to me is crumbling, things in the town itself needs repairing

No pedestrian crossing, no crossing guard. no traffic light, no cars stopping for children to access school. Children in HIGH RISK of being hit by car. Informed the council already months ago but didn't do anything as usual.Valley Road Academy

Terrible support I’ve been homeless on the streets for months and not getting one bit of support I have bad mental health problems and and very suicidal but are they interested not they not cos they don’t care

Needed to register a death of a relative, had to make an appointment, were seen promptly at the appointment time by a very helpful member of staff. Can't thank them enough for their empathy and understanding at what is such an emotional time.

Imagine one of those foreign toilets that's just a hole in the ground with 2 footplates either side. A little basic, but then sometimes less is more....Then imagine cr@pping £42 million down this hole and you're halfway there.An abomination of 'industrial chic' meets 'not quite finished' , with a touch of bargain basket et voilà!

About 3 times daily two ignorant cleaners clean park lane toilets, man and a woman. Don't respond to public questions and very rude.

Wow. The new City Hall is fabulous. What a beautiful building to look at. I know a lot of people whinge about its cost to build. What were the city to do to save the site post Carillion going bust at no fault of the City. All City Council's are forced in public/private partnerships. This is what can happen. I think the city has taken in on the chin and got on with it. The building is shared with other important Government institutions such as the DWP. There are banks of computers' connected to the internet for use free of charge. The staff at the reception are friendly and very helpful. Even the lettering of the words CITY HALL" are in a friendly inviting font. I've no idea how but you'll see what I mean when you go there. I think it is a modern building

I was impressed by the architect and easy location. When I went for my first appointment with the jobcentre, I was amazed by the staff help, they are well accommodating. Thank you
