I am very disappointed in the service I have received from Cambridge Neptune. After reading some of these reviews, I can see others feel the same but have been met with condescending and patronising replies from the customer service.I have had items taken out of my arms and put back on the shelf by employees because they were display only, despite there being no signage & multiple items around the shop.I also read in the stories brochure by neptune about ideas for renovating a kitchen by adding new handles to cabinets and repainting. But when I went to the store to get new handles I was told to buy a whole new kitchen or I couldn't have them.If you don't sell the hardware separately, don't advertise it.The shop assistant makes you feel like you shouldn't be there because you look like you can't afford a new kitchen.. you shouldn't judge a book by its cover & act like you're better than your customers.What a shame, some nice products but its time to get rid of the discriminatory staff.

Visited this store for the first time today, and just wow. What a stunning showroom! The staff were incredibly helpful and couldn’t have done more to make me and my family feel welcome. We cannot wait to visit again.

Lovely furniture and kitchen shop with complete rooms displayed around the house - bedrooms, lounge, kitchens and dining room with an area of house accessories.

Such a beautiful store! The products in Neptune are phenomenal. But, unfortunately, the staff were not particularly helpful. In short, about a month ago I visited the store and asked whether a product (made out of marble) would be fit for a particular purpose. Although they didn't sound very sure, they said it would be fine. I was therefore about to give them £500 to purchase the product in question but luckily I trusted my instincts and left the store. I then called customer services from the car park and they informed me that this product could NOT be used for the particular purpose I had in mind. They were really helpful and they explained exactly why it couldn't be used. I am so glad I listened to my instincts and called customer services for a second opinion as I could have lost a lot of money.No criticism of the staff - but, by way of some feedback, if you don't 100% know the answer then it's best not to give one. The reason is because, subject to disclaimers, customers are entitled to rely on your representations etc and a lot of money is relying on your answer!

Visited for the open house today, a beautiful property lovingly renovated and brought back to life. Despite being very busy, the engaging staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, offering Prosecco and hot drinks while we took a look around. Stunning product and environment, I wish you and your staff every success.

More interested in selling dried flowers than kitchens. Came for a kitchen design and nobody offered to help, instead I got told that prices were on back of the cards. I wish you all good luck at Neptune as you’ll need to sell more than dried flowers for that fancy new premises. Can’t let customers walk away. Terrible customer service. A shame, on to the next more helpful supplier.

Such a lovely shop. I’ve now called in a few times and each time the service has been excellent. Staff are helpful but not pushy, allowing you time to explore. The store itself is beautiful as well. Will be popping back soon!

I love Neptune furniture and have bought several pieces for our house from John Lewis. I was delighted to learn that a new store had opened near Cambridge, but I have been extremely disappointed by the rude and cavalier manner of the staff. Unfortunately, I don’t have the name of the very unhelpful and rude member of staff I have been dealing with, but I shall certainly not be buying from the Cambridge store again and I can see other reviewers feel the same as me!
