I have used Dave a few times to build bespoke mtb wheels. I have to say the build quality is always excellent, the price is fair and the spokes he supplied have took hours of abuse and are still going strong.

This was truly the worst level of service from an aggressive unfriendly and to be honest arrogant man. I phoned to have some work done on my wheels as I have some loose spokes. I was told that as I had bought my bike online that he wanted nothing to do with me in not a very nice way.Backstory to bike purchase. During this pandemic I approached a few local bike shops that accepted cycle to work scheme vouchers but not one of them could offer me a bike at my price point so i Was left with no option but to buy online.

Had a puncture on my rear tyre of a newly bought cyclocross bike. Dave was able to see me the same day, fix the issue and almost rebuild the whole tyre!Amazing work from a top bloke. I bent a rim on a club ride and after taking the wheel to a couple of local bike repair shops in Edinburgh, they advised me to bin the wheel and buy a new one. I didn't. I took it to Dave and he fixed it. He made it as good as new. When I picked it up, Dave showed me his magnificent hand made wheels - so guess where I'll be going when I need some new ones! Thanks Dave. Magic work and fantastic customer service.
