Asda Bordesley Green Supermarket

UPDATED 15 July 2023 around midday asian female on the till, can't find reciept with exact time, looking at the reviews it comes down to very poor management and seems like an ongoing issue that has not been addressed. Really poor till staff they seem more interested in having a conversation with colleagues than serving customers, dashing the items like it's their dad's house. I advised till staff I have X number of items she couldn't of cared less. Surprised no one has picked up on this....

There is a pretty Asian woman (Sam) whom asked on occasions to write a review as I shop there at least 2 times a week for many years . Personally I like the people who work there , it's well managed and always has a good range of products . Immaculate and professional service . Give them a pay rise .

All the staff I nice and friendly apart from one girl who is very rude my mum went two times in her work uniform and asked for a blue light card discount which she’s entitled to and that girl was talking in a rude way and still asked for ID which my mum obviously showed but because she didn’t have her work card with her she showed her licence and she goes oh I can’t do it when she could clearly see the uniform with company logo on then a few weeks later my mum went today and she done the exact same thing again this time when my mum spoke up and said what are you doing? she stropped off and then after my mum told the manager what’s going ok she came back in more of a mood without doing the discount so instead my mum had to go to another member of staff to get served and she’s out of even going to the store when though it’s out local store. It only takes one rude person to put customers off.

Its diwali time but management didn't bother to put any Diwali offer, no fireworks on sale.... Feeling very bad. I asked them for fireworks and they said we have put at the back

Went to my local asda after writing a 1 star review. I went back to asda to find all trolleys are back tills are open. The management has actually improved everything amazing. I have started doing my weekly shop now. Much appreciated thankyou I have edited my review so the feedbk is to my previous complaint

I was served by a lovely lady named Zarka and she provided excellent customer service! I was after a specific product that i could not find and she saw me looking confused and promptly came to me, asking me if i need any help or not. 10/10 service!

My father Imtiaz has had very good experience here, great customer service by Sam, keep up the great work, will be looking forward to coming back

Visited the store 12.06.23 at 7pm. Rude unhelpful staff and no customer service skills whatsoever. CANNOT BE A COINCIDENCE ALL THE REVIEWS ARE 1 STAR. I went to collect my click and collect order but staff refused to hand it over as they wanted ID. if this is required, we need to be informed within the text message or email and yet the small heath Asda doesn't require ID. Need better management and staff who care for customer service.

An average asda that is quite small but has thr essentials. Baby section is often lacking. 90% of the time have to wait for someone to serve at parcel collection area. Some people, especially mums with newborns cannot afford to waste time like this. Most of the staff are always looking moody and shouting at eachother across the store.... but a man called YOUSSEF who I was served by yesterday had exceptional customer service skills :)
