Hetland Hall Hotel
We had the afternoon tea. Great atmosphere in a superb setting, tea was well presented and surprisingly filling. Staff were obviously busy with a wedding but were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return, thank you

Hetland Hall Hotel
I recently stayed at Hetland Hall Hotel in Dumfries, Scotland, and overall, I found the hotel quite impressive. However, I opted for an upgraded room and felt it wasn't worth the extra cost, particularly because my window view was obstructed by a wall. On the bright side, the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the room was immaculately clean, albeit with a slightly odd layout making it inconvenient to view the TV from the bed, which was wall-mounted on the side of the room.In terms of dining, the food menu was reasonably priced, but I wasn't completely satisfied with the fish and chips I ordered; the peas seemed a bit dried up. Nonetheless, the staff at the reception were welcoming and friendly, and the service in the restaurant was prompt and pleasant. Despite the minor inconveniences, I would recommend Hetland Hall Hotel over the corporate competition due to its overall positive attributes.

Hetland Hall Hotel
We had a lovely relaxed break at this hotel. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Rooms were spotless with lots of fluffy towels in the bathrooms. Bed was very comfortable and the room very spacious. We love Hetland hall and go there to relax.

Lovely stay, hotel lovely, food in the evening was fabulous. Breakfast in the morning wasn't very warm and potato scone & black pudding not cooked great. Tea was served in pots which is nice but not very warm but overall a lovely stay.

Hetland Hall Hotel
Absolutely love this hotel and we keep coming back. This time we stayed in the Penthouse suite again. It’s absolutely immaculate and completely luxurious. We’ve also stayed in Solway Suite previously and it was the same. The reception staff are lovely, efficient with a nice, friendly, warm welcome. The restaurant is great too. Service is first class and can’t fault the food, both the evening meal and breakfast were really delicious. We’ll definitely be back again soon.

Lovely hotel, very high quality rooms and fitments. Nice location and would return.Least favourite is the music that is played in the bar and could be heard in my room. I am a light sleeper and early riser. Hence not 5*

Spent two nights here for my partners birthday and we have nothing but good things to say about this place!On arrival we were given an upgrade to room 104 and it was stunning with beautiful views across the solway firth. There was also a birthday platter waiting in the room which was so nice.Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and all the staff were lovely.Stunning hotel, wonderful stay!Can't wait to return one day.

What a beautiful hotel this is. The décor is tasteful and everyone is so helpful and friendly. Food portion sizes are enormous and cooked well with plenty of variety. The setting is tranquil and we were able to sit outside and get drinks brought to us as the weather was great. Lovely experience.

Hetland Hall Hotel
Great hotel in convenient location for stopping off when travelling to/from Scotland or N Ireland ferries. Modern decor & comfortable rooms, friendly staff & generally very good service. I stayed 4 nights & very much enjoyed it; I knocked off one star (it would have been half-star if I could!) because I found some of the food a bit salty for my taste, though otherwise very good quality & well-cooked.
