Before I went to the herbal clinic in Swansea I'd had several less than satisfactory encounters with doctors.At once when I arrived I was made to feel welcome and cared about.So many times in the past I have been prescribed potentially harmful medicines by doctors who didn't even listen to what I had to say about my own health.To his great credit Mr James listened to everything I had to say and was able to get right to the root of the problem.Almost straight away I began feeling better thanks both to the healthy herbs and tinctures and the attention to my own state of mind.Really, the whole experience has been very positive all round and I will visit again if I have any problems in future.Definitely a professional, caring individual with a genuine passion for his work, I recommend Mr James and his clinic to anyone who is dissasatified with modern medicine or practices like I was.

I visited the clinic for the first the few days ago for a free Iridology - Iris reading - because I have seen the ad in the Bay Magazine. I must say I was bit sceptical before going but I was extremely nicely surprised. The clinic was easy to find, parking close was available and I waited only for short period of time in nice waiting room with a lot of reading material, I was also offered water. The clinic does not seem to be wheelchair friendly but the staff is really nice and caring and I am sure they would find a way to make it work. I had to fill short form but it was just general information, nothing about my medical history, that is why I was so shocked how spot on all the 'potential issues' spotted on my iris were. I actually had 90% of the issues already diagnosed by either GP or other medical practitioner either recently or in some cases a few years ago. I was also told how to prevent or reverse most of them by Mr Meilyr James BSc (Hons) DBTh DAcu AcuC DIr MGNI. The examination itself was bit uncomfortable for me because I am light sensitive, but after I made Mr James know, he made sure to avoid directing light into my pupil so it was bearable and the results were worth it. He showed my which area of the eye is concerning etc. and send me photos of my eyes in my email so I could theoretically compare progress after changes in my lifestyle. I am very happy with the visit and I will definitely go back.

I'm pleased to meet Mr James.My experience at the Herbal Clinic has been excellent staff are warm and friendly which is very helpful.Mr James will tell you exactly what is happening to you which doctor didn't help last 2 months I was keep going to hospital and it was very hard time. He uses herbs acupuncture and exams the eyes using iridology. It is clear that he has a deep seated love and passion to help people.He spends as much time as you need and gets to the core of the problem. I think if you are having difficulties in life and you don't know what is wrong with you please you must come to herbal clinic and you will get the Answers and you will get best cured. I have recommended Herbal clinic to my family and friends!!!

I've visited Meilyr recently for a course of acupuncture as I had an old back injury that affected my shoulders and back. After the treatment my shoulders and back haven't felt so good in years. Great job!

Meilyr has been our family herbalist for over 10 years!He helps us sort out our health issues (such as constipation, allergies, acute urinary tract infection or inguinal hernia) as and when they present themselves, relying solely on natural foods, herbs and acupuncture.I do recommend Meilyr and his staff highly, their professionalism and dedication are second to none.

Visited the clinic mainly because my energy levels were low and suffering from congestion for years. The herbalist recommended herbs, changes in my diet and lifestyle and supported me through this.My congestion quickly cleared up, energy levels increased dramatically (wake up easier and remaining active during the day without struggle). Weight loss is a side plus that I never expected (but was more than welcome!).I also lost almost 7 kilos by learning how to eat better and get nourished properly. Highly recommend this clinic.

I came across the Herbal Clinic in late 2021 and I need to start by saying that I have never been treated with such care, compassion and consideration by any health professional.This is a unique blend of therapies in one package, I don't know where else you might find such a broad range of skills in one practitioner and I certainly did not expect to find this on my doorstep in Swansea.We seem to live in a world where health is treated piecemeal - not so at the Herbal Clinic who adopt a whole mind and body approach.Meilyr has a refreshing outlook on health and wellbeing, there is no 'sticking plaster' solution, instead he is determined to get to the root of our problems, not just patch us up and send us on our way. I have been given an understanding of what is behind health issues and provided with the tools to put things right for the long term.A light hearted and genial approach is dove tailed with a totally professional and highly skilled practice. His medical knowledge is quite astounding.From my own perspective this has been a life changing experience.The whole team are fantastic and whenever I step through the door at the Herbal Clinic I feel safe and cared for.
