Gate Of India Restaurant
Authentic Indian cuisine found in the heart of Chester. Tiny yet comfortable atmosphere for a great crafted Indian curry and I like particularly their Tandoori Chicken over the hotpot, the spices and tenderness of the grilled Chicken are just perfectly prepared. Rice and nans are charged extra. Recommended.

Service was good and people were nice but the food isn't great at all, all the sauces looked the same and it just wasn't upto scratch compared to a lot of places we've been to

Gate Of India Restaurant
First visit and very impressed. Food was served quickly and of a good standard. Ambience of the restaurant was really nice and cosy. I found the constant pacing up and down of the waiters a little much but I understand they are just being attentive. I will be back but with the team so we can test it out with a large booking.

I dined here with colleagues on Tuesday evening; it was so good we came back the next night with three more colleagues making the group number 6. The food was excellent on both occasions. The staff were fantastic and took care of us all. Place was full, which is always a good indication.

We went for dinner for 8 people,In the name of biryani, serving pulav rice in small quantity but no taste with dried chicken breast pieces,no serving of raitha(yogart) along wth biryani,when we asked they charged 2.6 pound for on cup of yogart.Other than keema naan is nice,prawn masala curry is good,

Have visited 3/4 times when I’m in Chester, usually for take away. Delicious food, great service. Hard to get decent Indian food - especially if you’ve lived in the Middle East but yummy review for indian gate. Thank you !!!

Busy little place , staff lovely, food lovely. service really quick even tho packed . highley recommend . only ended up costing us £11 each brilliant.
