Altcar Training Camp
Went here 3 days ago, experience was amazing, rifle range was amazing but food could've been at a higher selection on meats as there was an incident with a Muslim cadet and all there was, was pork and they told him to just go and get salad, please improve

RAF reg on exchange for a week. Had a fantastic time, plenty of practice on the range, got to do the 5 mile of death, I told everyone I met I was a fighter pilot, they seemed really interested :).I practiced my marching in my spare time, I think I've worked out which foot it is now lol.It was only let down by the urinal that has stalegmites made of squaddie piss.Showers that haven't seen a hint of flash cleaner, but probably more piss.And paint all over the floor.I think next time I'll just stay over at the RAF hotel of choice.

Went here 23 years ago with the army cadet force and loved every minute of it, it was a great experience

Good facilities and the food is not bad too but the accommodation could be better although it is a transit camp so it's to be expected

Worst camp in the Army. Worst food, accommodation is so hot I had to sit outside till 8 at night as I couldn't stop sweating, can't vape. Send me back to Kenya
