The Sherlock Holmes Museum
Nice staff and guide. The tour didn't last longer than 30 minutes, you walked around the house and checked the rooms. Nice to see, but I think you get more out of it and connect more references if you are a Sherlock fan, which my company and I weren't really... but very nicely decorated, you can tell that there is a passion that they want to keep alive. Expensive gift shop. There is a mystery surrounding whether Sherlock actually existed or not and saying this was where he actually lived didn't make things any clearer, rather more confusing.

Purely tourist attraction. Small and crowded space, very short visit. You can view it all in 15-20 mins. Overall its fine if you set your expectations right. Few interesting items on top floors. But don't expect much from this museum

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most famous creation gets his very own museum and what a delight it is! From the moment you're greeted by the doorman the whole visit is a pleasure and the staff explaining the many quirks and gadgets at Sherlock's disposal makes for an amusing and plentiful tale. It's not the biggest of museums and the whole experience all told will take you about 25 minutes to navigate if you really take the time to study everything and if you're a fan of the famed detective then you'll have a treasure trove of things to discover here. The shop has items, many of which are exclusive to the shop itself and you'll come away with a newfound appreciation for the man who can deduce even the most complicated of cases. Oh, and wait till you come across Professor Moriarty himself...

What a cute place!!! I love the Sherlock Holmes stories, so this was a special treat! The guides inside are super knowledgeable and the gift shop had some unique items. The only reason I have it 4 starts was because I thought the price was a little steep for how big this is and it takes maybe 10-15 minutes to go through the whole thing.

I have mixed feelings regarding this museum.Firstly the positive things. It is nice. Staff is helpful, friendly. At the beginning a short tour/guidance is given. A lot of information is told in a couple of minutes, nice story telling and facts.Everything seems genuine, nicely kept for the future generations. Top floor is the location for wax figures.Lot of information is everywhere, nicely arranged and presented. There is souvenir shop , gift items and tickets could be bought there. My only concern is the overall lenght of this visit. It is a tiny house. The tour is very short. There is no time limit, nobody told us we should leave. However, the whole building and the exhibition is not big, everything could be observed in a fairly short time. After a while it is getting boring quickly. It is amazing and impressive, please do not misunderstand.Probably it is a very nice experience for a Sherlock Holmes fan.For an ordinary person it is interesting, infornative. However, I am unsure about worthiness. It was nice to see, but very short experience in time. All floors, all information could be visited and observed about less than an hour time and that is all.Unless if someone is a big Sherlock Holmes fanatic the worthiness is a question mark for me.

This museum is definitely catered more for the fans of the book. Before entering, you have to wait in front of the door to be admitted - the house is pretty small, so they only allow a group of people at a time. Upon entering, you will be briefed by the staffs on two of the rooms - the living room and Sherlock’s bedroom. Then you’re free to roam around. It took me about 30 minutes to tour around the house, after that you can visit the gift shop next door if you like.If you’re a fan of the books you will enjoy seeing the house come to life.

Great experience! This was exciting and kind of creepy with the wax figures to tour through the life of fictional Sherlock Holmes! We really enjoyed it and purchased a few things in the gift shop. Thank you, Sherlock Holmes Museum!

Really cool, but very obviously for tourists. It’s very enjoyable if you’re a Sherlock fan. You can purchase tickets online or in the shop next door, you get a small guided part on floor 1, then you’re free to explore the rest on your own. It’s a bit cramped considering how small the flat is and how many people they try to cram in there, but still really cool.

If you're a Sherlock fan, this museum is a must! The apartment is a remarkable reconstruction, and the staff dressed for the part. They shared detailed descriptions of the rooms and some fun facts that spiced up the experience. Finally, you can take back some of the memories of the items from the gift shop. If you book the tickets online, you won't have to wait in line. Otherwise, be prepared for a ~30 min wait. Baker Street 221B did not disappoint.

Wonderfully decorated with antiques, fun letters from fans at display, warm staff... there's nothing not to like about this famous address of our favourite detective! One can almost expect Sherlock or Watson to pop in round the corner. I strongly missed the presence of actors playing them as it looked almost like a set! But perhaps it's too small a place to put up an enactment!
