After rubbish experiences with a previous garage I had my car break down with an engine light warning and needed to get it looked at asap, contacted Craig to have it looked at and I was meant to take it in, when I called to check when a good time was Craig took my address and did a house call whilst on a test run of another vehicle and had a look. From looking he got a good understanding of what needed doing but said he’d need to run diagnostics and to call the shop to get it booked in. I phoned once he’d left and spoke to his father in law who was really helpful, he got it booked in for a few days later and they let me drop it round the night before and leave them with the keys to suit when I work. Dropped it off and got a call the next day telling me what needed doing, I was quoted £313 which was exactly what I ended up paying which was incredibly reasonable. The customer service was great, really good prices and the work was brilliant!

Excellent service from the moment I contacted the garage to ask if they could assist me. Craig was spot on with first diagnosis….fantastic service at a fantastic price…would highly recommend and will definitely use again for my cars services etc etc.

I tried this garage based on good reviews, but unfortunately I had a completely opposite experience. It was really terrible throughout, I felt like I was lied to throughout, with slow service and over-charging as the final element. I dropped my car off on 28 July (for instrument cluster repair) - a job I was told would take 5 days. After hearing nothing for a week, I called on Friday 5th - and was told the parts were in the post. They'd call back to confirm (nothing). Calling again on Monday 8th, the parts had definitely been sent out now - I could pick the car up Wednesday evening (nothing). Thursday 11th - no updates, and on calling, they confirmed nothing had been sent out, but they'd find out and call me back (nothing again). Friday 12th - there had apparently been a mix-up" with payments

Used Craig's services a few times now.. very pleased with the work he and his team have done! Most importantly, I feel I can 100% trust these guys with their diagnostics, and their pricing is very competitive! I stuck with my last garage for 15 years until I stumbled across CMG, and now these guys are my go-to if I ever need any work done.

Craig at CMG fitted my vehicle in for repair whilst we were down on holidays despite having a full schedule.Excellent friendly service and very helpful. No hesitation in thoroughly recommending!

A massive thank you to Craig. My daughter needed her car repairing, Being a young woman, she is wary and inexperienced in these things. He was reassuring, thorough and very helpful. She felt comfortable and that he knew what he was talking about. She has found a garage that she will be using from now on.

Called Craig after being let down badly by a bunch of clowns just outside Stratford. The service that I received was impeccable. Although they were packed out with work, they said they'd fit me in sometime this week so I dropped my car off very early on Monday morning. By 4 pm the same day, the work had been completed. Fault found and other minor issues taken care of. I would definitely recommend CMG and I'll be using them in the future for sure. Thanks for a great, reasonably priced job...

Visiting for the day when my brakes seized. Halfords autos quoted £450 CMG Automotive sorted it within a few hours and charged only £80 for new brake pads. Fantastic service and great price. Highly recommend these guys.

I booked in for a horn repair, MOT and service at short notice, however the work was completed quickly and for a very reasonable price. Great service, I will definitely come back next year.
