Paid over £200 for a Full Spring Clean which they failed to complete. Cleaners turned up in a small car with two Spray bottles of cleaning products and a Henry Hoover, Myself and the wife went out for the day so the cleaners wouldn't have to work around us, a few hours later we had a call from our neighbour to tell us she could see the cleaners sitting and watching TV in our living room! When we returned home they had left and after looking around our home we could see they had missed many area's and even failed to clean the toilet! After only being offered a refund of £39 we have taken this matter to trading standards.

I wanted to put up about my experience, people are always very quick to rant and put up poor reviews so it’s nice for me to put up a 5 star review. I have used Mary Moppins for my business on a number of years and they are really dedicated to there jobs, I can also say there communication is excellent. They carry out large projects for me and they are reliable and completions are on time. Highly recommended.

We've had them for a few years now (our house is a 3 bed semi-detached so not massive). Something appears to have changed within the company as the standard over the last 7-8 months has been more varied with only occasional top quality jobs done. The problems are thus:A) communication - when bills change or dates for visiting are edited we often don't know or aren't given sufficient notice.B) bill management, Over the last year or so we've been incorrectly charged on 2 to 3 occasions.C) the current system of using different cleaners as teams of 2 just doesn't work for us. Some do a good job, others very poor. We've been when they come round and one particular cleaner spent half the time telling us her life story leaving the other to get on.It started so well with really good work done (we loved the little touches of one particular cleaner who would fold toilet roll into a point a la hotel style!). Now, consistency of quality is severely lacking and with price going up, we're likely to quit this and get another company in. Tables are not polished, bins no longer emptied all the time, some cleaners even walk around with shoes on indoors after hoovering?!?! And that's when We're in!2 years ago, I would have recommended this company to friends and relatives, anyone. Recently, I've warned colleagues at work to look elsewhere.Would not currently recommend this company I'm afraid.

Used Mary Moppins to do a full deep clean on a house I had sold in January (house wasn’t dirty just lived in).The estimate was 8 hours which was paid2 additional hours were required also paidOn entering the house after the clean there were still cobwebs in majority of corners, dust on windowsills.I called to complain with which all I was told that they would pass it on to their staff to improve. Was told I would have a call the next day from the managerNever cameMany more cleaners in the area which do a better service.

Just used Mary Moppins for a deep clean on a flat. I was really pleased with the high standard of cleaning from carpets to paintwork and even spotless oven. I would certainly recommend them and will definitely use their services again.

We had our property cleaned by Mary Moppins Ltd, the house we needed to deep clean was left in a dreadful condition by previous tenants.We put in a complaint towards Mary Moppins Ltd., as after 2 Employees going there twice to deep clean the house it did not look at all cleaned thoroughly. My husband and myself spent other 6 hours trying to scrub the place to get it to an acceptable condition.Unfortunately our complaint has been declined saying that they did not have enough time. However when making the booking my husband emphasized that the property is in a bad condition snd need a very deep clean and the Staff should spend as much time as they need to achieve a “deep clean” condition from floors to ceiling.They spent ONLY 2x1,5 hours “ there. We were wondering how is it possible to get it done properly in only such a short time.... and unfortunately upon arrival we had to acknowledge, that the place still looks dirty.I have never left a bad review on anyone’s bad service. I don’t have the need to ruin people’s reputation. But I was very disappointed by the declined comlaint. They said they needed more time.. so why didn’t they take more time to do a pristine job? Paying 150 Pounds and then having to spend extra 6 hours of our own time to complete a job which we payed for to be completed by professionals is not acceptable.

My husband and myself started a holiday rental business in 2017 and have employed Mary Moppins since the beginning.We did have one or two teething problems to start with, which were quickly resolved. They now try to make sure that we have cleaners who are familiar with our property and how we like things done.I have found the Mary Moppins team very friendly and approachable and feel we now have a strong working relationship . With regard to their cleaning and laundry services our holiday home now has an Airbnb rating of super host with 5 stars and we have a tripadviser certificate of excellence. We consider this as a shared success with Mary Moppins as almost always our guests comment on how spotlessly clean our property is.We would highly recommend themH. Addison

We have used Mary Moppins for our holiday let for over three years. They are always really helpful - finding replacement crockery and linens at short notice, getting cleaners in at short notice, making sure our guests are happy when we have had problems. Nothing is too much trouble. Their value has really shone through during COVID. They put in place the necessary extra cleaning and told us exactly what we needed to do. They were really good at communicating when we were closing/re-opening and making sure we had cleaners as soon as we needed them. Their laundry service is great, can't fault it.
