The knife making course was thrilling experience! Tim and Alex took us through all the processes from forging the blade to carving and fixing the handle. They led the group with patience and skill so that we did every aspect ourselves but had help where we needed it. The feeling of accomplishment at the end was tremendous!

I had a really fun experience doing the stool making workshop with Tim. It was a full on day, but so rewarding as we went from wood to a full finished stool in only a few hours. Tim was incredibly knowledgable, helpful and supportive. I'd definitely love to do another woodworking course soon!

Highly recommend the stool making workshop! I really enjoyed the process and Tim is a brilliant teacher. We came away at the end of the day with a stool each that Tim helped us finish beautifully. Stepney City Farm is also a really lovely location. I'll definitely be back.

Brilliant afternoon with Tim, so knowledgeable and patient with the class……. Didn’t mind going over things when asked. I will definitely be going back to learn more skills, made very welcome, great atmosphere.

I couldn’t recommend the bowl carving workshop with Tim more. Perfect space to learn a new skill with a small group. Lots of 1-1 guidance throughout the day, and everyone left with some hand carved goods. This would also be a great gift for young and old. Really nice day in a great city farm!

If you are even thinking about it, don’t hesitate, book. I hadn’t done woodwork since school, but thanks to Tim’s patient guidance, I came away with a bench and some new skills to be proud of. The class size is small and friendly. The pace of the day will keep you busy but not rushed, so Tim has time to spend with each person as they need.

Great benchmaking two-day workshop. Tim was great at managing different people's wants and speeds. I had a lovely time and have a stunning handmade bench!

Would highly recommend! Did a 3 hour session with Tim and came out with a spatula and bread spreader. Tim was really informative and helpful, running through the different techniques and even throwing in some additional ones for anyone interested in trying more. He created a really welcoming and calm space, we all had a great time

Amazing wood working class. Tim was a great teacher, the class was fun, engaging, reasonably paced. I was really happy with what I built during the class (a great looking stool), and and I will definitely come back for more classes.
