I used GD Gray for previous work on our roof, as that was an excellent job decided to ask them to replace two shower units. Kevin was as professional and courteous as ever and completed the work to a great standard, leaving a tidy worksite every day. Would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future.

Gordon and Kevin recently built a garage, erected a porch and constructed two panels on the front of our house - all made of larch. We are absolutely delighted with their work. Their attention to detail was remarkable and the quality of their workmanship could not be bettered. Their relaxed professionalism – no fuss, no panic, everything done well, as it should be – and their easy manner made the whole project a pleasure. Throughout, they ensured that we were happy with what was being done and their questions helped us sharpen our thoughts. And at the end of each day, the work site was left clean, neat and tidy. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending GD Gray.

We chose Kevin and Gordon as the lead contractors for our project to convert a Victorian guesthouse to a family home. This involved moving several walls, creating new bathrooms, repairing a significant leak in the roof and the damage caused, replacing several windows and creating a new kitchen. Kevin managed the co-ordination of plumbers, electricians, stonemasons, plasterers, decorators and bespoke cabinetry - all seamlessly. We couldn’t be happier with their support in planning the project, the very high quality of their work and their great communication. Kevin and Gordon, with Kieran, were great partners in the project and took infinite care to get everything just right. We would recommend them without hesitation.* Their quote was highly detailed and accurate, the end bill itemised, and it was very clear where jobs had been more or less complicated than expected.* They supported us through planning and design of new room and bathroom layout, a completely new kitchen and walk in wardrobe. Our work didn’t need planning permission or building warrants, so all the layouts were done between ourselves and Kevin & Gordon. Now we are living in the house, everything has worked out just right.* Outstanding attention to detail and a very high quality finish. The main bathroom was created out of an en suite and a shower room, which had existing wood cladding matching other window linings throughout the house.  Kevin & Gordon took the time to remove, label and re-fit the original cladding - it’s now not possible to see what has changed!* Created a bespoke walk in wardrobe to fit the space - all made in the workshop off site, fitted perfectly and lovely finish once painted.* Great communication - we were always kept fully informed about progress, issues and who was going to be on site and when.* Very respectful of the site - the house was even turned over to us cleaned and hoovered.

We have used GD Gray for over 15 years ,often with smaller jobs and have always found Gordon and Kevin extremely helpful and capable.They are great to deal with- friendly, prompt , courteous and the workmanship is of a high standard .

Kevin Gray and team are doing some on going work on a house for me. I have been really pleased with the work done to date, plus Kevin's communication and attention to detail. Communication has been extremely important as it has been done over a distance, so reliant on information emailed over and photographs etc. I intend to use GD Gray for the remainder of the works plus would really recommend them to anyone in need of reliable, genuine and skilled builders.
