Hangar 136

The guys at Hangar 136 just completed the sale of a car that I never thought I'd sell, but after 23 years of ownership and great memories, it had to go. Great photos and write-ups presented it as well as could possibly have been done, achieving a fair price. Typical classic car niggles just prior to handover caused some delay (and mild panic on my part), but were all handled calmly by liaison with the very happy new owner. Altogether, a transparent, honest and enjoyable experience - but I will miss the car!

After recently visiting Hangar 136 to view a 1972 Porsche, I feel compelled to write a review about my visit. My point of contact was Laurence, who made everything feel very professional and enjoyable. Communication was excellent throughout, the car was waiting for me when I arrived and the information provided was done in a relaxed and informative manner. As a car enthusiast, the whole experience was an absolute pleasure, as it should be, with no pressure and most importantly, complete honesty and understanding. If you are interested in any of the cars available at Hangar 136 I would highly recommend a visit.

The best sales experience I've ever had by a million miles. I went to see a Maserati with Laurence, easy communication to book, was ready for me when I arrived, the car was ready to examine, great. Laurence was a great guy, we just chatted about cars for far too long. He helped me install my son's car seat so we could go for a test drive, answered all my questions, was clear and open about the car's history and how his business operates etc, just a great experience. It felt more like a morning leisure activity than a test drive, no hard sell, just a car nerd trying to help another car nerd find the right car. If we were in a pub I'd have bought his drinks all night, great bloke. Whether or not I buy the car is dependent on how broken my current one is, but in different circumstances I'd have had no hesitation in buying the car then and there. Can't express how good an experience this was compared to every other test drive I've ever done. I felt like I was his number 1 customer and I'd known him for years, consummate professional.

This gave me full confidence that I was buying a well-cared for example that would offer many more years of reliable motoring. Excellent flexibility was on offer when it came to arranging viewing / collection appointments, resulting in the whole process running without a hitch. I would highly, highly recommend these guys!
