We had the Wirksworth special kebab and tikka starters with pickle tray. The kebab was huge but absolutely lovely. Very quickly made and tasty

I consider a nuclear curry that doesn't affect you the next morning to be the very best kind of curry. I got the lamb pathia, which is my benchmark dish. The lamb was tender and lean; the sauce was (at my request) very very hot. It took three goes to finish it! Wholeheartedly recommended.

We visited Wirksworth Balti as a treat on the final night of our break in the town and I have got to say that's possibly the best ever curry I've ever had!!I opted for the Lamb Bhuna Medium and I was impressed with how much meat was in the dish, it was cooked to perfection. The sauce and spices were perfect and just the right amount of spice.The onion Bhajis were also very nice as was the kheema naan.

i only have chicken tikka masala or chicken tikka kebabs as thats what i like.food is great my only grumble is ,i dont like fat and sometimes the kebab can have abit to much fat on on the chicken.thats just me being picky .

Very poor. No spice depth to curry, not enjoyable. Pilau rice is just boiled rice with colouring. What is this raita? Split, no resemblance to raita. Naan covered in sugar. Not at all good. Big portions, that is it. Very very poor

I can not stress enough how revolting the food from wirksworth balti really is , avoid at all costs . Dry tasteless chicken tikka, tasteless lamb curry , rice that could be uncle bens ( but zero taste ). All the dishes were swimming in oil . I would definitely not recommend this place to anybody.

Curry lacking in spice and flavour, not particularly enjoyable. Rice had no flavour, just boiled, I can make much better rice at home. Pieces of lamb in the curry very very dry and completely without flavour, seems like they had been cooked sometime before and then just left sitting.

We are visiting the area with friends. We placed an order for 6 meals for delivery.The food was delivered promptly.However the food was quite lacking in any real flavours. The curry dishes were extremely greasy, the King prawn curry had only a few small prawns, the passanda sauce was very watery. The rice was the same for each dish even thought we ordered different rice's. The chips were limp and cold. The Poppadoms were crumbled and in pieces.Overall quite disappointing.
