Due to my work I have visited several times Nottingham City Council, Job Centre. The one near the train station.Staff members are extremely kind, professional and most of all humans!!It is extremely rare to find people who actually support other people, going above of what is ‘just’ work duty but providing their support with kindness and respect.

Is ridiculous how long they are taking to process my parking permit application, I couldn't do online as their system wasn't working (I just though a spinning screen) and so had to do paper form, My parking runs out at midnight and I'm going to have to park elsewhere and pay to park.I lived all over UK and can honestly say Nottingham City Council are the worst run council going.

If you have issues with the council it's now very hard to be heard, things get passed on to departments but some never respond. When the council has such failings as the assisted pull out services for disabled and elderly and compared to many other cities, this happens to one of the most terrible. Missed bins, not to mention the abuse you can get, indirectly but why?! I sadly live up a cul de sac pathway so classed as lazy, and not disabled by Dr bin man. Also had a miracle cure for long covid and my son for down syndrome, the church wants to put up a shrine to miracle and the bin men nominated for Nobel prize for his cure diagnosis for the world! But the assisted pull out service isn't run by the managers it's run and controlled by the bin men, seen it first hand. I am just a nuisance to the council wanting and paying the council tax for a service that is beggers belief. But then it takes a lot for people like me to ask for help as it was killing me trying to get the bins down with my bad health, which using the service and been treated like dirt gas now destroyed my mental health completely, I cannot win. And what do you when a bun has been waiting over 8 weeks to be emptied? When it's near a disabled child too, attracting vermin? And bin man one certain 1, quite loud about it all, which us victimisation, and disability hate ignores your bin - I have a neck injury and far far more but cannot push things down in a bin - I am disabled with a disabled child, so apparently we shouldn't have rubbish. Not in coffin yet, though be an escape from the bin man's hate when I am. Yes it's that bad.

Very disappointed with a council, which asks for courtesy and respect. Respect is earned getting issues resolved, not pushing responsibilities from 1 department to another. No action to resolve issue, rather than registering. Should stop paying council tax and order someone else to act. In particular Nottingham city homes department, where pete jones supposed to be manager and help to resolve, never called back. Will try Mill Barret, which is Chief Executive if he takes any actions to resolve ineffective customer facing service, will keep you updated.

Hi there,I am a motorcycle delivery rider working mainly in the city center area and I would like to talk about a problem we (riders) are having. As is known, there are several restaurant and places to collect orders in the city center. And they are all over, not just in a specific spot. And we don’t have allowed places to park our motorcycle and perform our job.So, I believe that from time to time things change and we can notice that the number of motorcycles have really increased lately therefore we need more bay to park all over.We are a class of workers trying our best just like all other jobs and, apart from the difficulties and risks we already take in our profession, now we are needing Council help to make things simple and safer for everyone.I hope hearing back from you soon.Kind regards,
they lie but why ?

Nottingham city council will use police courts bailiffs and every resource possible to chase you down for council tax payments but were is this money going ??? The roads are absolutely full of potholes and craters thiers young people waiting for council flats and houses for over 4 years + the green spaces and alley ways backstreets etc are all over grown and neglected they have sold most public parks to private housing developers thier office in city centre has security that remove you unless you have appointments but thier phone lines are useless and staff members rude and oblivious the schools are all in dire need of help what do this council of nottingjam actually do for the people of nottingham ??? Theanswers nothing at all but take your hard earned money it seems right now thier only priority is housing illegal migrants that are living in hotels or backpocketing tax money

This pathetic excuse of a council manages my towns roads, a road near me has had over 20 potholes filled in on one section alone and its like driving over a bouncy castle! reported it and they came back yet again saying they've identified no issues...funny as i just drove down that road and i counted atleast 4 potholes that were poorly filled now falling to bits and the road isn't even...pathetic to think we pay these lot tax and they are that lazy they cant even resurface a section of road thats had over 20 potholes filled.

Corrupt and incompetent. IT services change without notice, basic things like taxpayers' addresses are incorrect in parts of the system. Phone lines ignored, letters ignored, and only a threat of complaint get a resolution.
