This place and the ladies who work here are brilliant. When my mum visits she always pays a visit, her hair always perfect, I have recently started to go as I was fed up with the dog clippers, the ladies reshaped and got my hair back to looking great can't thank them enough. They also spend time listening to you and the chats are lovely and me and mum always leave feeling up lifted and looking great. If you need any sort of hair work even a basic trim these are the ladies to do it.

Nice little place with talented hairdressers with great sense of style and good techniques. I used to use a prominent salon but recently discovered that in Rumours I can get far better haircut for a fraction (1/4 in fact) of the price. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Will be using only them from now on.

I retired from hairdressing 2yrs ago after 56yrs in the business & have been cutting my hair since then, I finally decided to find a salon near where i lived. I found Rumours on Google & was impressed by the reviews so decided to take a chance, i booked an appointment today with Tracey and she was amazing, she listened to what i wanted & was not unnerved knowing i was in the same profession. The result was exactly what I wanted, the price was very reasonable too. Never judge a book by its cover!!

After a really terrible experience with another 'experienced' hairdresser, I went in to Rumours in tears wanting an opinion on the cut and colour I'd just paid a lot for. From the moment Jill, the owner, saw me I felt validated, she genuinely cared about how I felt and was horrified by both the cut and colour. It was just before my twins 18th birthday, and we'd planned a huge birthday treat where naturally lots of photos would be taken, sensitive to this Jill dropped everything to have me in the following morning (salon was closed for the Kings Coronation) and start the correction process. I am incredibly grateful for her warmth, kindness, compassion, professionalism and care.My hair is not as I initially wanted it, but two long appointments in I now feel much more me. I love the change in style, which I might not have had the courage to go for without Jills guidance!I would have no qualms in recommending Jill to anyone, and now that I've found her hope to continue as a client for the foreseeable future x

Lovely friendly place to get your hair done

Very friendly, nicely situated place to get your hair done. The hairdresser who does my hair is Tracey. She is a brilliant professional with perfect sense of proportions and style and excellent technique. I always get complimented on my hair after Tracey cuts it. Booking is convenient, there is free parking few meters away, prices are more than fair. I would recommend this place to everyone.
