The bartender trying to charge me £24 for 2 single gin & tonic served in a party plastic cup is a roge practice well spread in the Northern Quarter. Put the prices on display so customer don't have to think the bartender is trying to rip you off and believe he is just incompetent instead.

Very stylish, high quality bar in the Northern Quarter. Interior is very well (maybe a bit over the top) themed in the style of a Japanese street, with separated booths and a relatively large seating area with Shoji styled decoration behind it. The drinks are also very reasonable prices, with them having 2-for-1 cocktails advertised everyday up to 10pm between Sunday and Thursday and then up until 7pn on the other days (however they were still doing it until 10pm on the Friday I went). The cocktails are all amazingly done, with creative names and brilliant garnishes. The whiskey are all Japanese too and very high quality. They do have a 10% service charge on all transactions (which isn't written on the menu, or at least I didn't see it). The only slight qualm I had was that the music doesn't fit the ambiance, however, I can understand that having city pop or J-pop playing wouldn't bring in as many customers as playing more popular music. All in all, will definitely be returning.

Lovely Japanese themed bar in Northern Quarter. All the cocktails are themed on different parts of japanese culture and media and many have playful and humorous garnishes. There is also a large range of Japanese whiskey ranging all the way to super premium stuff. The decor is very nice if a little over the top but it embraces the theme well. The staff were all very pleasant and the vibe of the bar was very strong. Will definitely be returning to try the rest of the cocktail menu

Fantastic little hidden gem tucked away in the NQ. Friendly staff who know how to make an excellent cocktail, every single time without fail. Casual setting with cool and atmospheric interior. If you're planning on going out-out or even just fancy a cheeky cocktail after work, this is the place to go. Also, 2-4-£10 until 19.00 weekdays. No-brainer really.

Incredibly offensive staff, anti-inclusive and to be honest just bad people involved in on site weekend staffing. Also, if you order something, please be mindful of the incorrect price you will be charged on the hidden till and/or PDQ.A shame, used to be great.

Great deal on cocktails even on a Saturday. Plenty of seating and not too loud so can hear yourselves talking. However did have some good tunes playing too. Great couple of hours with my girls. We will be back ❤️

If I could give no stars I would. Group of 10, not allowed to put 2 tables together, told off for smoking outside. Not one other person sitting outside. Would’ve been happy to stay for several rounds but given the shocking attitude of security we left after 1. Pathetic

This cute Japanese cocktail bar has happy hour till 10pm. That's fantastic when you just want to chat with friends after work. The drinks come with cute little gifts.
