The reception staff were helpful and friendly. My GP was so supportive and understanding. Great service thank you

Firstly I rarely write such a negative review but after nearly a week of trying to 'get over' the latest experience with the young lady on the reception desk I feel a warning needs to be broadcasted to my neighbours in the area.The RUDEST receptionist in the West Midlands, cold, unfriendly, sarcastic, mad on power.... I would rather suffer than go here.To the point where from now on I will go to the NHS Walk In Centre and wait 5 hours to see a GP than try to contend with the hostile staff that work here.Don't ever call or ask if you need help or advice or an appointment, you will just be given dirty looks, sighs, sarcasm, excuses and be treated like a nuisance. Some of the staff are ok, but the young lady on the reception desk (you know who you are) lets it down for everyone.If I could vote it minus stars I would.

Very nice doctors and administration staff. We always manage to get an appointment if we call at 8 am. We have been going to this surgery for almost 2 years and we have never had a bad experience.

My partner just rang about signing on, put on hold 3 times and then was hung up on. Awful for customer service.

Pathetic booking system. My 89 year old mother asked me to book an appointment for her. She is with a GP at Clay Lane surgery. I somehow got through to Stoney Stanton Road who took her date of birth and name and happily booked her in. Sadly it was for Stoney Stanton not Clay Lane, which happens to be called Gosford Green (option 1) We arrived at Clay Lane (which is nowhere near Gosford Green let me add) to be told appointment was for Stoney Stanton yet they had not cross referenced when we booked appointment that she is not based there. Utter farce, car park across road was not accepting cardless or coins. Just a complete joke. Come on guys, in terms of communicative competence this was farcical. How about making it nice and clear for relatives of elderly patients or confirming things like a bank payment at end of call?

Never any appointments available or the appointments get changed because the doctor wants to go somewhere or you feel like the doctors inconsiderate, I will be moving, thanks for the service

I have been at this surgery for a long time it has a wheelchair ramp at the entrace and accessible toilet facilities, the doctors are friendly and helpful.The rececption staff are very friendly and will help if they can they are polite and thoughtful towards the patients.

Never any appointment available and we registered in this gp for 4 years but now they told me that your name are not registered, I've child also, but doctors are good

I attended Balliol Rd Surgery with my Dad this afternoon and he saw Yvonne the practice nurse. As usual she was excellent and sorted out his medical problem promptly and efficiently. The reception staff were excellent too - they arranged for him to see the nurse on the same day as he had an infection which needed treating quickly. We are both grateful for the service we have received.

Your Review:  Travelling home after a week of coughing , tried all the usual home remedies to no avail. In car to airport rang surgry explained needed app. Receptionist managed telephone app with my doctor before flight
Prescription sent to local pharmacy medication was in my home for my arrival. Thank you Team great service. Grateful patient.!
