Been here a few times, Kevin always makes you feel very welcome. The food was excellent, I had a ribeye my wife had salmon Wellington both superb. Definitely go there again in the future.

Can not comment on rooms as did not stay there. However, Sunday lunch was awesome as usual, and the landlord his usual happy self. Great service and always more veg or gravy available on request if required. Dog friendly a bonus. Lovely in the winter when they have the log fires going. Great place to take the whole family

Just by chance popped in here for a bite to eat, welcomed by our host and clearly told that food would be 30 minutes minimum due to a walk in 12 top that had just arrived, we accepted this and ordered some excellent Otter Ale. Food was definitely worth the wait! Cod and Mediterranean vegetables was delicious as was 'er indoors salmon Wellington, potato gratin and vegetables. 2 spotless plates sent back to the kitchen. Highly recommend a visit. Unhurried, relaxed atmosphere, good ale and great grub!

Had take away sunday roast. Absolutely delicious, plentiful, lovely mix of veg, plenty of meat and potatoes, nut roast lovely. Cheesecake delicious, cant fault at all. Value for money. A*

went to a private function all the amenities were great, family run pub and restaurant. very nice set meal all fresh. would recommend.

Highly recommended! Food was delicious, a great variety for all - would 100% come back. The gentleman running the place was extremely friendly and a great host. Will definitely return!

This was an amazing meal out. The good was delightful and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection and my crab pasta was absolutely gorgeous. The desert menu was amazing. Everything was Covid safe.
