Alex was our waiter for the evening, very friendly & polite. He gave us time to choose from the menu.We did the meal deal as we were staying till midday and our 15 yr old daughter got her breakfast free.You can have a starter and a main or a main & pudding plus a selected drink ( some carry a surcharge, but you are notified about this before you order?The restaurant was not overly busy so food came out at quickish.We enjoyed our meals & highly recommend eating here.You need to book a table when you have booked in at the hotel.Highly recommended & Alex is an asset to Thyme restaurant premier inn North Terminal.

Quick service, decent food, parts of the restaurant are a little too dark to read the menu.

We looked at the menu on-line only to find what we wanted was no longer available. The double cheese burger was over getting drier as you went, cobb salad was plentiful but spoilt by the soggy lumps of bread posing as croutons. The service was excellent just let down by the food.

Service is efficient and friendly, but the quality of food is terrible. I'm not expecting Michelin star standards, but bacon, tomatoes, and burgers with absolutely no flavour at all are a first for me. Another first was the list of all the food items that aren't available because of shortages!Just an all-round disappointing experience in Brexit Britain.

Decent food but not value for the cost. Service was good. Don't expect more than an airport semi fast food establishment though.

Terrible food!Chaotic, loud, overly busy atmosphere.The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 was due to the staff being friendly and hard working.We only ordered pizza & chips - just something quick and basic. However, of the 3 pizzas we ordered, only 1 was hot. The other was barely warm and the 3rd was not even warm! And portion size of chips were small - especially for £4 a portion.The waiter kindly took 2 pizzas back to reheat them, but even then, all 3 pizzas tasted unpleasant - I think possibly the tomato base sauce was off???Honestly, Asda own brand pizzas taste better than what we had here. Myself and 2 teenagers couldn't eat them.Wish we had gone over to South terminal (the shuttle is free, super quick and comes every 5 minutes). There is Wetherspoons and some other food places or even meal deals at boots and M&S.

5 stars just for Kelly, she was such an incredible waitress. Deserves a promotion of some sort. Would go back just to be served by her again. Incredibly attentive and lovely

I overheard a conversation between two young black women that are employed by premier inn and as they were talking to one another i overheard the one I heard believe to be called “Chels” or “Chelsea” mention to her black friend, as she saw a very young white child on reins” mention that “why is it always white people who have their kids in those reins, it’s never black kids because as a kid I never had one if my mum told me to go to her I would, it’s only stupid white kids who have them”, now as a white father with white children if this was mentioned about my children these young disrespectful and rude girls would’ve never heard the end of it! This is disgusting and inappropriate behaviour inside or outside the workplace, if I said this but about black people there would be serious consequences, now I expect you to handle this the way you see fit and it should be dealt accordingly, but I do not tolerate racism no matter to whom, but they best think twice before saying anything remotely offensive/racist again. I suggest you do not become ENABLERS of this behaviour and I expect there is a zero racism tolerance policy.This then made me choose NOT to eat at this restaurant.

Burger and chips was nice but the bun was a bit hard.Prawn linguine was nice just needed a bit more seasoning.Dough balls was lovelyWhite Pinot Noir was beautifulReasonable price, food took quite a long time to come out but expected for the location.
