Positive experience... bid on a Ford KA for my daughter.. and won.. process was straight forward and the Guys took time to explain the process.. lots of cars.. would definitely use again..

Bogus bids flying around the auction.... The chairs the tables and the light fittings were apparently making bids...... It makes it nearly impossible to buy a car..... They only sell about 5 cars a week and the same cars are there for weeks and months..... I tried to buy a car outside of the sale but was given no help whatsoever despite me having money in my pocket.

Been going to Ellesmere Port auctions for years. Plenty of choice from many vendors. As with any auction there is always a risk buying a used car. Ignore reviews stating 'bad cars, high prices' etc. You bid what you want to give, if you don't win, try again! And you are able to get keys and inspect vehicles at your own leisure.Darren and Claire are very friendly, excellent members of staff and Cecil is always keeping the yard clean and tidy and on hand to help wherever he can. There is another part time member of staff, David who, when on site can be somewhat helpful but see Darren or Claire for expert advice.5*

AVOID!!!! AVOID!!! With immediate effect. I bought a Vauxhall Corsa and usually if it's a category group, it's displayed on the wind screen and it's up to a customer to decide. So the car turned out to be CATEGORY B with no sticker displaying. So obviously i call them and explained the car was CAT B and they tried to justify with illogical excuses. They new i was right but they didn't care whatsoever. They didn't even try to reason with me, this was blatantly done under false pretenses. I will be taking legal action against this auction and I will highly advice to stay away

Be very careful here as the auction is full of car dealers and work with the auction so both parties come out winning and the poor individual is left with buttons after selling the car. also you wait at least 2 weeks before you get paid keep away and sell your car privateI sold my car last year so my review is correct also the only winner here is your company. Look at other reviews it speaks for itself.Its all about profit to you nothing else and to being in the motor trade for so long and listening to other people who have sold cars in the past most of them have said its a big swindle.When a person writes a review on here its interesting reading them as a few have lost out a lot of money when selling the car for auction.
